Hi there Gargy,
while these updates seem very nice, we are encountering some extremely annoying issues.
after importing CSV with about 3000 contacts, which failed for some reason and created 3000 unusable contacts, I attempted to select all and delete them to try the import again. However, this option is disabled. After further trial and error, I realized you (Microsoft) are limiting the deletion of contacts to 10 at a time.
This is the same for Outlook New application and Web App.
Additionally, turning off "New Contacts" in the Web App (which is not possible in the Windows Application) still limits me to deleting only 50. Also, once they have been deleted and moved to the recycling bin, I get to do the whole thing again, because I can only delete 50 at a time there as well.
I'm sorry, but I have to ask. Who thought it would be a good idea to TAKE AWAY contact management capabilities from users? It makes no sense, and if the reason is security/avoiding accidents, then at LEAST, PLEASE add an override function and a strong warning.
I almost don't want to try importing the CSV again, fearing the need to spend another hour cleaning up trash 50 at a time.
Also: Regarding the selection of these 50 contacts, when I click on the selection box of a contact, why can I not click, hold, and drag the mouse to select multiple contacts at a time (as I can for example in Windows File Explorer with files)? No, I need to select every one of the 50 contacts individually because, for some reason, the select function is limited to 'select all' or 'select one' contact per click.
Please, I implore you, please add back the ability to fully be able to manage contact lists and not be limited and have your time wasted by some ridiculous, arbitrary rule. This is a HUGE step back and from what I've seen on the web, many people are annoyed and affected.
This needs to change!!!
Regards,
Nichoals
