MicrosoftFormat copy & format paste are some of the most useful functions of MS Word. Making the shortcuts for those Ctrl+Alt+C/V is a terrible idea - extremely impractical, and it's not just because "i'm not used to it". Give it a try - it's just difficult to press Alt with your middle finger (if you also have the Fn & Win keys to the left of it).
At least I found the info i needed on this page, and i'll revert these shortcut key changes.
Why would you press alt with your middle finger? 🤔 I've only ever pressed it with my thumb and I don't find it any more or less difficult to press than ctrl+shift+v. Also, I think this was a very good change. Every other program uses ctrl+shift+v to paste as plain text, and it was stupid and frustrating that Word was different.
