Hi, WP, 

The “Tags” feature in Microsoft 365 apps will be retired between January 6 and January 10, 2025. Users can use the “Favorites” feature as an alternative. No admin action is needed for this change. This information was shared in a blog post in the Microsoft 365 Message Center.

No one has been able to answer this until now. It does help indeed (MC961601).

I find this feature much more useful than the Favorites feature, but maybe Microsoft saw low usage and decided to kill it, 🪦Tags.
