I followed the recent announcement regarding the general availability of Microsoft 365 Copilot with interest and anticipation. However, to my great disappointment, I discovered that this tool is limited to enterprise customers with more than 300 licenses. This exclusivity leaves small and medium-sized organizations, such as our educational institution with approximately 150 employees, out in the cold.
As an educator, I see immense value in utilizing Copilot within our organization. It would be a catalyst for productivity and innovation, especially considering the significant investments we already make in Microsoft products. Your decision to limit Copilot to large enterprises feels unfair and overlooks the needs of a substantial portion of your customer base.
I propose that Microsoft consider making Copilot more accessible to smaller organizations, possibly with a reasonable additional fee, similar to subscriptions for other advanced services like ChatGPT. This would not only be fair but also stimulate innovation and productivity across a wider range of companies and educational institutions.
I sincerely hope that you take this feedback to heart and reconsider how you can make Copilot available to a more diverse audience. Your current policy excludes many potential users who could greatly benefit from this advanced technology.
