Jazmin15 You know what the most frustrating part of all this is??? We are all almost saying the same thing, replying to a post from a Microsoft employee (who by the way made the same comment that got everyone outraged):
"Enterprise customers can call their Microsoft account representative to purchase Microsoft 365 Copilot. Customers who already have Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 (or Business Standard / Premium) can start using https://www.microsoft.com/edge/bing/chat-enterprise today. And every organization can https://learn.microsoft.com/microsoft-365-copilot/ to learn how Copilot works, understand licensing and technical requirements, get familiar with https://support.microsoft.com/copilot, and get their organization ready."
No mention of requiring an EA agreement or a required 300 license minimum. And we're supposed to "learn how Copilot works" from what? Microsoft's stellar documentation or online videos in a regulated sandbox environment? What new information can we possibly learn from that than we could when they started this entire campaign?
I am glad we all share information as a community, it just really sucks that Microsoft doesn't listen to their true community. In fact, they seem to be on a mission to constantly put us at odds with our businesses by not being able to deliver what they "want" because some knucklehead decided to either be intentionally misleading, or just clueless about message vs. reality.
One post said Google was looking better and better.... while I get the sentiment, having dealt extensively with both.... Google leaves a lot to be desired as a stand alone platform. That's just not a reality for a lot of companies and that probably has a lot to do with how Microsoft continues to operate. "We've got them.... what are they gonna do? Go to Google?!"
Microsoft should definitely be more truthful with the decision makers at their clients. It's one thing to tell folks, we need to wait until it's available for our "tier" versus having a deluge of requests because Microsoft announced general availability.... now we have to tell the kids "well that's not really true....."
At least we can all sleep well knowing all our comments and time spent contributing to their "community" does absolutely nothing, they don't give a **bleep**.....
