The biggest issue we've had since migrating to cloud native over the last 4~ years is password resets don't work like they use to. When a user password is in an expired state they are not prompted to change the password 'prior' to logging on.

    Hi Grant195. This is correct. Password management on cloud-native Windows endpoints is slightly different by design because our emphasis and guidance are to move away from forcing password changes and also moving away from passwords completely (eventually). All third party security standards bodies and organizations (that I know of including NIST) share this view as well. If your organization has some other restriction in place preventing you from going down this path, I've seen various community offerings to help -- I'm not fully versed in any and cannot recommend any, but a web search should yield some hits.
