šŸ‘‰ The following questions and answers can additionally help you determine the best experience for your learners:

Q: Can I offer MS-4021 instead of MS-4008 to a decision-maker audience?

Yes. MS-4021 includes executives as a functional group, and the demonstrations and immersion experience for executives are identical to those in MS-4008. However, MS-4021 is designed to align with a broader audience, and as a result, it does not emphasize higher-level security and management features that are more relevant to decision-makers. If those topics are critical, MS-4008 is the better choice.

Q: What is the recommended classroom size for this training?

We recommend a maximum of 20 participants per session. This ensures that attendees have adequate time to ask questions, receive guidance from the trainer during immersion experiences, and enjoy a more personalized experience.

Q: Is there a difference between demonstrations and immersion experiences across MS-4008, MS-4012, and MS-4021?

Yes. MS-4021 uses task-based demonstrations tailored to each functional group, while MS-4008 and MS-4012 focus on application-based demonstrations.

    • Demonstrations MS-4021 highlights real-world tasks that align with specific roles (e.g., Business Manager, IT, Communications) rather than broad application overviews.
    • Immersion experiences MS-4021 takes a more open-ended approach. Instead of step-by-step walkthroughs, participants receive a task and example prompts to assist them with exploring Copilot.
    • Executive-focused demonstrations and immersion experiences remain consistent across all courses (MS-4008, MS-4012, and MS-4021).

Q: How do I choose between MS-4008, MS-4012, and MS-4021 for my audience?

Use the following guide to determine the best fit:

  • MS-4008 ā†’ Best for decision-makers (executives) with Copilot licenses who want full functionality and leadership-focused use cases.
  • MS-4012 ā†’ Best for decision-makers (executives) without Copilot licenses, emphasizing free Copilot Chat features while demonstrating broader Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities.
  • MS-4021 ā†’ Best for business professionals and decision-makers across various functional groups, providing role-specific demonstrations and immersion experiences.

Q: Do participants need prior experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot to take this training?

No. These courses are designed for participants with no prior experience with Copilot. The sessions include an introduction to Copilot, prompt-building exercises, and hands-on immersion experiences to help participants explore the technology.

Q: Do these courses cover Copilot for industry-specific solutions?

No. These courses focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot within productivity applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams). They do not cover industry-specific Copilot solutions or scenarios.

Hi Mindy, thanks for this!  a few months ago there was a slide shared around extending Copilot (Copilot for developers) where it showed the path for low code and pro code developers.  Do you perhaps have this guidance updated?

      Hi Suridup

On this Wednesday's TSP community call AM & PM sessions, there will be Copilot updates from the content portfolio manager. I will ask him about this slide as well! Thank you.
