I have some colleagues who would like to take the DP-203 exam. Why can this exam no longer be taken in English, but in many other languages?

The appropriate teams are currently working on removing all language versions of the exam.

      Thank you

        So let's summarize:

DP-203 will be discontinued and replaced by DP-700. DP-203 will then be extended until December 21, 2025 so that it can continue to be offered. First, the option to take the DP-203 exam in English will be removed, and now they are working on removing the other languages as well.

What sense does it make for students to take the DP-203 course now, not be able to take the exam, and then have to take the DP-700?

Am I missing the big plan?

I think there s need to have a sort of migration courses to transition and bridge the gap between the two technology stacks.

Hi Mindy, thank you for the update. We appreciate that the course will remain available for some additional time — there continues to be strong interest in it within our customer base.

That said, we’re still seeing considerable demand for both the course and the related certification. The DP-700 doesn’t serve as a direct replacement, given the different focus and skill sets it covers. For instance, we had around 30 customers ready to certify for the DP-203, but many decided against it once they learned about the exam retirement. Most of them feel that the DP-700 doesn’t align with their role or learning goals.

We’d greatly value any additional insights into the decision to retire the certification entirely — and whether there’s any room to reconsider or offer an alternative certification path that better matches the original scope.

    With kind regards, Marnix Wolf

      Hi Mwolf1703

I understand how this can be frustrating. I really appreciate the feedback -- and was shared it with our credential's product manager. Should I get back any additional information I will certainly share it.

      Thank you
