To improve the hands-on learning experience, AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure is getting a lab structure refresh.
🔄 What’s Changing?
- Instead of a single comprehensive lab at the end of each learning path, multiple shorter labs will now be integrated throughout the course.
- This mirrors the structure used in courses like AI-102, offering more focused, digestible activities that reduce instructor intervention.
🧩 Why the New Lab Structure Matters
- Reinforce learning in real time: Learners apply concepts immediately, improving retention and reducing cognitive load.
- Reduce delivery friction: Labs are now 15–30 minutes long, making them easier to complete and support.
- Align with modern course design: Consistency across ILT courses makes it easier for trainers to prepare and deliver.
- Support Applied Skills readiness: The new format better prepares learners for real-world, task-based assessments.

will become the primary source for AZ-204 labs.
