Release Notes
Question:
How can you find out what’s new or recently released with Purview?
Answer:
Unfortunately, there is no email newsletter at the current time. Until there is Microsoft does create a Purview newsletter sharing what’s newly released, here are 3 ways to find out what’s new in Purview:
Option #1: “What’s New”
“What’s New” in the compliance.microsoft.com
Clicking on that link will take you to the following URL which is the closest thing, at the moment, to a Purview newsletter:
Option #2: Public facing roadmap
You can look at the following URL - Microsoft 365 Roadmap | Microsoft 365
Here you can run a search on the feature (ex. eDiscovery) or apply a product filter (ex. Microsoft Information Protection).
Option #3: You can find the latest updates to your tenant in the your Microsoft Admin center.
- Go to https://admin.microsoft.com/
- Click on Message Center
- On the right pane, you will see the list of all the updates to your tenant. You have filters (ex. Tag) which will allow you to narrow down what has been updated.
