Hello,

would be so kind advise please ?I have successfully created Azure DB watcher, created either free or DEV Azure Data Explorer Clusters/public network/ and my database with streaming ingestion enabled. Next steps should be grant Database Watcher access for cluster and database. 

 

Issue error message : Entity of type 'AAD Application Id' was not found in AAD tenant 'XXX' : using correct guid of  Database watcher object(principal) ID via command > //.add database [JanDB] admins ('aadapp='database watcher Object (principal) ID'); /used also tenant .... in command/

 

Tried this in Kusto explorer UI, app, also in Azure Portal (here I cannot list Azure Database Watcher in Azure Enterprise application to choose new principal inside of my Entra ID)

UPDATE "restarted " DB Watcher twice and was able see Azure Database Watcher inside Enterprise Application : sorry to bother perhaps some lessons learnt
