Windows Authentication presents additional single-sign-on option for SQL Managed Instance Azure AD users.
Compared to the previously available options, it brings the following benefits:
- Works with legacy drivers, that don't have built-in Azure AD support
- Works on both Domain Joined, and Azure Active Directory Joined machines
- Works in double-hop scenarios (i.e., IIS impersonation)
