Great lesson and something one would not even think about.

Suggestion to change code @line 21 to :

STRING_AGG(CONVERT(VARCHAR(max),sc1.StatisticName),'', '') WITHIN GROUP (ORDER BY sc1.StatisticName) AS StatisticsNames,

This will prevent error when the comma delimeted statistics names exceed 8000 characters.
