With the introduction of OAuth2.0 in PG18, is there a true SSO authentication option being considered for support?

Great question - OAuth 2.0 support introduced in PostgreSQL 18 lays the groundwork for modern authentication methods. While native single sign-on (SSO) integration isn’t part of this preview, Azure Database for PostgreSQL already supports SSO via Microsoft Entra ID for earlier versions. We plan to extend Entra ID support to PostgreSQL 18 in upcoming releases as part of our GA rollout.
