With the amount of the Data Centers being constructed globally to support the Microsoft Capacity Business goals, as a former Microsoft DCD (Data Center Development) team member myself, I saw first hand how more women in the industry of construction require advocacy and sponsorship in their careers. My non-profit 501c3 has been focused on just that. I am excited to announce the launch of She Powers BI – Women’s DIY Mentorship Cohort, a 6-session program designed exclusively for women who wish to restart their IT careers or transition into Data Analytics. 💡 The Kickoff Session will feature an Inaugural Special Guest Speaker – Lavanya Lavanya, Director, Product Management at Microsoft. Lavanya is a dynamic leader in Product Management & Generative AI and a passionate advocate for women empowerment in tech. 🎤 I will be leading the cohort, guiding participants through Power BI hands-on DIY sessions that cover everything from installation, data preparation, modeling, DAX, to storytelling with dashboards. 📅 Cohort Highlights: Kickoff & Inspiration Session Step-by-step DIY learning in Power BI Community-driven mentorship & networking Portfolio building & career guidance 🌸 The goal: Help women Restart, Reskill, and Rise with Power BI.
