Although there is no internet connection speed issue on other mobile devices and computers connected to the same modem, the internet download speed is 2 Mbps and the upload speed is 9 Mbps on my computer. Both Windows 10 Pro and MacOS are installed on the same computer (i.e Macbook Pro). When I switch to MacOS, the internet download speed is 75Mbps as it should be. I've tried the most common solutions suggested on Microsoft's site and other sites on the subject. None of them worked out. I reinstalled Windows 10 by protecting the files and programs on my computer, but there was no solution. I also shut down all non-Windows applications and services that started automatically when the computer was booted, again, there was no solution. I tried 7-8 more actions without any solution. My computer did not have such a problem 2 weeks ago. It started suddenly. Windows 10 Pro was upgraded recently to version 1909. Even though, I'm not sure I suspect this might be the problem. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Update after 5 years (22 August 2024): I could not find a solution to this problem. I experienced this problem twice. Each time, I had to completely format the Windows installation on Boot Camp. Then, reset macOS. After that reinstalled Windows on Macbook Pro via Boot Camp from scratch. That solved my issue. I suspect the issue might be due to some updates that came via Boot Camp. Also, don't install Wifi related updates provided as optional updates on Windows if you don't experience any issue at that moment. Such updates may be the reason as well.239KViews1like16CommentsWMI unknown account in security permissions
Hi everyone, We are using WMI on Azure AD computers to give our NAC system (PortNox) access to read a certain process in the client. We have an issue where for some reason the account was mistakenly deleted and in this case when opening the WMI CIMV2 namespace security we see that an unknown account remained in the security permissions. When I try to use PowerShell to remove the unknown account I get unknown error. Anyone has any idea what I can do to get out of this mess? Thanks in advance, Rahamim.919Views1like1CommentWSUS edge update fail 0x80070643
Hello everyone, it's a little bit of time that one of my clients do not install from wsus server the update for microsoft edge properly. After the install get to 100% return the error code 0x80070643. Already tried to install manually (download edge business from ms site), reset all windows update components. Other updates are installed succesfully. The event log report a different error code (only a generic installation error with code 0x8024200B). The very wierd part is that if I disable the wsus policy and check for update in edge information page, the update install succesfully. Other clients install it from wsus without issues.4.6KViews0likes1Commentstrange file history last copied date in the future 2039-04-23 1:02AM

I recently pulled out my old desktop and decided to set it up. I had to install an M.2 I had because I pulled the old one and put it in my laptop. Long story short, I pulled the battery on the board and cleared the CMOS, installed the drive (it was formatted, allocated, and not encrypted) downloaded the latest media creation tool from Microsoft and began installation. I entered the bios, set it to boot from the USB that contained the Win 10 software, set it to UEFI and saved the settings. Once it restarted I came to the MSI load screen and then went to a very delayed windows logo. After a spin and a half on the load wheel I get the BSOD that reads, Stop Code: PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA What Failed: WimFsf.sys I am stuck at this point. There is no windows OS available anywhere on the drive. This is not a reset or fresh install over an existing OS. It is a fresh install on a formatted drive. I want to be clear on this because I have researched the problem and many people try to point the user to the command prompt, which is not possible from the bios; the bios is the only thing accessible. If you can tell me something different then please do! I went to a different M.2 just to rule out the idea that the drive could be faulty, I had the exact same error. Being as the CMOS was cleared and that both drives were formatted and allocated for space, I cannot understand what the problem is with this installation. I have built several computers over the years for myself and others and I have never encountered this kind of install error before. I don't know what else to do. I appreciate any and all help/suggestions, Thank you! Specs: MSI x570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi; Ryzen 7 3800x; 16gb Corsair Vengeance RAM; EVGA RTX2070. The two drives I tried were a Crucial MX500 SATA M.2 1tb & Samsung 970 EVO NVMe M.2 2tb971Views0likes1CommentRecovery BitLocker key on Win10 Pro
Hello, I've got Windows 10 Pro on my laptop. I have installed Windows myself & have used the same account till now, I haven't changed that. When I log into Microsoft account, I can find my device and the license which is linked to that laptop, but there are no BitLocker keys linked to that. That means, I'm trying to find my BitLocker key but it's not visible on Microsoft account which is linked to my Windows license. I can't access that encrypted SSD because my laptop is down so I can't check it in CMD. I'm trying to use that disc in another laptop but to access that I need a BitLocker key. Just for you to know, I believe I have studied all Microsoft instructions, tutorials etc related to BitLocker key recovering... Could anyone support me with recovering that key, please? I know Win10 is not supported anymore, but I don't believe that is the reason why I can't find my BitLocker key there. Kindly asking for help 🙏22Views0likes0Comments
