Rolling out 21H2 to a large number of groups, some of the users have reported not being able to use snipping tool after the upgrade. Anyone else come across this issue? Its only affecting certain users (possibly the ones that had already used the tools before). Thanks840Views0likes0Commentswin 2k16 update KB5008207 gets stuck and never finishes for more than 1 day

Hello, We have a mixture of two 2012 and three 2019 domain controllers in our environment. We have a GPO for domain controllers that is set to download updates and schedule them for installation (and any reboots) for 4am on Saturday mornings. The 2012 DCs follow this GPO, but the 2019 DCs don't. They will install updates and reboot at random times. I did a gpresult to make sure that the GPO was applied and the settings were correct. In looking at the registry of one of the 2019 DCs, all looks to be correct? Registry screen shot below: Can anyone tell me how to troubleshoot further? Thanks. We have Remote Desktop https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/manage-apps/application-proxy-integrate-with-remote-desktop-services through Web Application Proxy, both running on Server 2012 R2. The RDS application in WAP is configured for pass-through authentication so users can connect from both Windows and non-Windows ("rich apps" on Android/iOS/Mac) devices. This has been working for the past few years without issue. After installing recent update KB4534309 (or the rollup that contains it, KB4534297), the non-Windows clients are unable to connect. They show error 0x3000008 during the "initiating remote connection" phase: We couldn't connect to the gateway because of an error. If this keeps happening, ask your admin or tech support for help. Has anyone experienced this or figured out a way to fix it?2KViews0likes1CommentKB4103726 Windows Server 2012 R2 x64
Good Morning, I am trying to install KB in subject for Windows 2012 R2 Standard. I have downloaded it from Microsoft Update Catalog as stated in KB article. I can't install the KB as "The update is not applicable to your computer". I noticed that the folder containing the file is named: 2018-05 Security Only Quality Update for Windows Server 2012 for x64-based Systems (KB4103726) While the file inside is named: AMD64_X86-all-windows8-rt-kb4103726-x64_2d9c6de8c4ca8cf3966e05f870c6e0e75e7e609a I also noticed that if you download the file for Windows 8 x64, the file has the same name. Can someone confirm this is the right file for Windows Server 2012 or there is a problem in the Catalog? Thanks in advance.4.3KViews0likes1Comment
