Hi everyone, We want to publish a tile of a specific SharePoint online site to the app launcher. We want it to be available to specific users. The problem we are facing is - If we deploy it via org settings, it is to everyone. If we want to use application proxy, we are required a connector. Is there another way to add the site as a tile or an app to a group of people? Thanks, Rahamim.Solved994Views0likes1CommentGame icons are missing and blank on Start menu if we Pin them during download
When a game is being downloaded, and then I drag its icon from "recently added" list of Start menu and drop it on Start menu to make a tile out of it and Pin it there, it will be a blank icon and have no content after game Is finished downloading and installed. it will still launch the game, but it's just blank. if I unpin it and pin the game icon again, it will still have a blank icon on Start menu tiles and app list on start menu. if you can reproduce this issue, please add your details to the feedback: https://aka.ms/AAan0fk (this has been happening in the Beta channel, Dev channel FE and RS releases.)851Views0likes0CommentsTurn the Tiles on the Edge NTP (New Tab Page) into Live Tiles
on the NTP (new tab page), most visited websites can be shown, with a small icon which is basically that website's favicon and the website/web page title. My Suggestion is to Turn those Tiles into Live Tiles. so instead of showing a static Icon and title, show the contents of that web page. the contents can be divided into 4 or 5 slides that are the size of the whole Tile and change every 3-4 seconds automatically like a slide show. they can be very useful and serve as a quick sneak peak or preview into those most visited websites, so user can look at them and check for new content. these previews can be loaded when Edge is launched and reloaded when the user refreshes the new tab page. there needs to be a minimum period between each manual reload of these contents to prevent sending spam-looking requests to those websites (when a user decides to spam the refresh button on NTP). the minimum period can be set to something like 20 seconds and not less. this will be a great addition to the new Edge browser. dynamically generated contents are always better than static content.1.4KViews3likes0Comments
