Sharepoint Discussion <> Access

Has anyone experienced this? I believe I could setup the "lists" (or tables) myself, but would rather not. I'd like to know the relationships they've setup for them and suppose I could try to export them as Excel to see if it sheds light - but all this seems like a lot of effort if there's a better way. Please help Thanks
