26 TopicsDetails of feature availability in GCC Tenants
I am working with a client in a GCC tenant. They are looking at available training and adoption resources and they were wondering if there was some kind of chart that compares feature availability. They found some tables that list features at a high level but not at a detailed level. The example that comes to mind is that as of last week, you can't add a OneNote Notebook to a Tab in MS Teams in a GCC Tenant. So if their users were looking a training video that shows how to add OneNote as a Tab on a MS Teams channel they would get frustrated when they found it was not available. It looks like this group does have announcements of features as they are added to GCC Tenants. Can you recommend other good resources? Thanks - GregSolvedAdmin submissions portal in Microsoft Defender for Office 365 GCC
I'm having a hard time understanding why Microsoft doesn't rescan emails submitted through the Admin Submissions page in the Microsoft 365 Security portal. I also don't understand why URL and File submissions are disabled for Administrators. Why should a tenant admin need to open a support ticket to submit a phishing/malicious email in order for Microsoft to actually review it? How does this protect tenants from phishing emails that specifically target US/State/Local employees? Accounts assigned Security/Organization/Global admin roles should be able to submit emails, urls, and files to Microsoft directly through the Admin submissions page. Microsoft should acknowledge when a privileged account is submitting a missed malware/phishing/spam email, rescan the submission and use the submission to improve threat intelligence filters.Welcome to the Public Sector community!

If you are in the Government tenant, you probably feel the pain that many of us have expressed here about the delays in getting O365 products released to our tenant, and moreover the lack of transparency in when they are going to be released. We understand the releases are delayed while obtaining the necessary compliance that is part of the Government tenants, but as administrators (and users!), we need more information to be able to properly plan and advise our users. The current Roadmap has spotty information in this space, at best, and it is not easy to find. Often it is buried in a description page, without any information on when we will get the release. There is a User Voice item posted requesting a Government tenant Roadmap with dates for product releases to the Gov tenants: https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/33313249-release-dates-for-government-tenancy Please consider adding your voice to help this item get traction! -kathySolvedMicrosoft State and Local Government (SLG) Cybersecurity Newsletter

Today, the Office 365 Team is pleased to announce the availability of several advanced capabilities in Office 365 that are new for the U.S. Government Community. The U.S. Government Community Cloud complies with federal requirements for cloud services, including FedRAMP, as well as with requirements for criminal justice and federal tax information systems. The new capabilities—including Skype for Business cloud voice, video and meetings services; advanced security workloads; and data analytics tools—together with the core productivity and collaboration capabilities of Office 365, will enable U.S. Government workers to collaborate in new ways and drive digital transformation across all areas of agency operations, all while meeting stringent compliance standards. For GCC folks deploying PowerApps for use on mobile platform, on the Login screen for the app, at the bottom right corner, there's a settings gear. You must set your Region for your environment. The default is "Global" and had to set ours to "US Government GCC" for the apps to appear. Took me a while to find this as I was searching PowerApps docs instead of GCC-specific PowerApps docs. As soon as the Region was set correctly, the apps were there. Perhaps this should be in the troubleshooting document?
