Hoping I am able to explain this adequately. Issue is occurring across multiple SRS and Surface Hubs. When starting an ad-hoc meeting on both devices, when searching for people, results are very inconsistent. When you start typing in letters to find someone, if you type 3 letters you may receive results. If you add a 4th letter and then a 5th letter, there are not results. If you type in a 6th letter, you will receive results. Add a 7th letter and you continue to receive the error No Results Found. Mind you that these results are totally inconsistent. Sometimes you need to type 4 letter to receive results but adding the 5th letter results in nothing found. Same weirdness happens when you back letters out. My next test is to try this in a Teams meeting on the same devices. Just put a new Hub 2 in our C-Suite and want to resolve this quickly before frustration rises.1.3KViews0likes1CommentSRS V3 Logitech SmartDock and HDMI Video, Audio issues when hosting screen sharing from dock to TV
We have been doing a PoC with Logitech's SmartDock Skype Room System (SRS 3.0.15.0 on W10 1703, October 2017 firmware on the dock) and have experienced an issue with video and audio quality degradation as soon as screen sharing is enabled on the SRS in the meeting with HDMI video input from a laptop. We can reproduce the issue whenever connected to a Samsung smart TV using HDMI, or DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, and 55" (UN55MU7000FXZC) or 65" TV models (UN65MU6290F). If screen sharing is not from the SRS (i.e. if it is from another meeting participant) there is no issue. Single display or dual display makes no difference. The issue does not occur when we use: a Benq LCD projector; or, a second SRS room, an LG commercial TV with the same software. We have been unable to get an explanation for why this is happening so far. It seems the recommended models from Logitech are all commercial TVs which is somewhat limiting. This is what we have received from Logitech: "Here is a list of the displays that we and Microsoft have found to work properly. 70” Sharp Aquos 208U1406031 65” SMART SPNL-6000 or SBID8065i-G5 ELO EL4201 55” Samsung DB55E HP Compaq L2105TM 3M, Product: M1866PW Model: 98-0003-3726-5 LG Flatron 55WT30MS-B We have not kept an accurate list of failing displays, but do know that the following are failing: 55” Sony XBR-55X850D Insignia models Some Samsung models."6.9KViews0likes7CommentsSkype Room System stuck on signin in
Hi, I have a Skype Room System (Surface Pro 2017, Logitech Smartdock) but I'm having trouble signing in. The App keeps displaying the circle 'Signing in' but never does. The New Meeting button is greyed out. I have tried a lot of things, and have checked the logs. Nothing in there gives me any clue on what might be the problem, but I also do not know where to look. Some possible relevant information: I have build 4.0.51.0 of the SrS app on Win 10.0.17134.471. The SrS user is created with the correct PS scripts We are using 0365. We do have an on premise AD for 'normal' users but the SrS-account is created in the cloud. I can log in with the account (name@tenant.onmicrosoft.com) on a Windows SfB-app and in OWA I have tried to use the username@tenant.onmicrosoft.com user as well as the username@domain.com usernames. I have tried Teams, Skype, and a combination. When I send feedback through the app, I receive the e-mail and I can see the sent feedback in de Sent Items folder in Outlook online. So the user seems correct When I invite the room from my personal outlook account the SrS displays the meeting, but the join meeting butting is greyed out. In the eventlog I can see a recurring error: {"Description":"Network status : Healthy. Exchange status : Connected. Signin status: Unhealthy. Teams Signin status: NotApplicable.","ResourceState":"Unhealthy","OperationName":"Heartbeat","OperationResult":"Fail","OS":"Windows 10","OSVersion":"10.0.17134.471","Alias":"","DisplayName":"","AppVersion":"4.0.51.0","IPv4Address":"192.168.0.127","IPv6Address":"","IPv4Address2":"172.28.174.209"} I have been trying to get this to work for three weeks now, and would really appreciate any help. Thanks, Peter4.5KViews0likes1CommentQuestion in Skype Room System v2
hello everyone, i have a few questions on SRSv2 , I have a scenario where i only need two conference rooms in different sites with no other individual users , can i do this with skype rooms ? i need the two rooms to talk each other only since there won't be any users. also there is no exchange available , is this doable or Exchange is a must ? i understand it is required for calendaring and such but will it work without it ? thanks everyone :-)1.1KViews0likes2CommentsSRS and Windows 10 1709
Started experiencing an issue with SRS, latest client, when upgraded to Windows 10 1709 via Windows Update. Both impacted SRS are Logitech SmartDocks with Logitech Group cameras, speakerphone and mic extensions. Prior to the upgrade to 1709, when a call was initiated, both audio and video would start simultaneously and immediately. After the upgrade to 1709, when the call starts, audio starts immediately. A few seconds later, video will start which is a relief but confuses our users who think something is wrong. Smartdocks that are still running 1703 are not experiencing this. Curious if anyone else has experienced this and, if so, what did you do to fix it.2.6KViews0likes1CommentSkype Room System - Skype not opening after update
