"Something went wrong" when using Teams via Windows 10
Running Teams from my Windows 10 PC suddenly started failing during login with the generic "Something went wrong" error message. However, Teams runs without issue within browser on same machine. Attempts to resolve have included: Restarted machine Reviewed recently installed updates, nothing coincided with the failure. Applied all pending OS updates Updated installed browsers Cleared browser cache Cleared application cache by deleting all files and folders under %appdata%\Microsoft\teams Cleared cached permissions within Windows Credentials Manager Reinstalled Teams While browser is short term work around finding resolution required to restore user/product confidence.
