Issue finding the proper formula or macro
I have a spread that has letters and/or characters in two rows and names in two columns. A third column needs a count of certain letters from the two rows if the name in the two columns are correct. Can you help? Maybe this will help: I have row 16 and 37 which contains either of these characters/symbol, "E√PBDT" (√=alt251), cells B16:AK16 & B37:AK37 and I have a column which contains names (4 different names) which are in cells A5:A8 & A26:A29. I want cells AF62:AI67 to count the number of occurrences the rows above contain each of the characters/symbol in rows B16:AK16 & B37:AK37 specific to the names in cells A5:A8 & A26:A29. Is this possible?
