21 TopicsAnnouncing the Public Preview of a new top-level CDC resource in ADF
Azure Data Factory (ADF) has recently added many new CDC-enabled connectors to process change data from SQL, Storage, Cosmos DB, and many other sources. Much of the feedback that we received from our users about this has been centered around making it easy to configure and to continuously detect changes at the source. We heard your feedback and are super excited to announce the immediate release of a new top-level ADF resource that is now available in public preview in your ADF resource explorer!31KViews11likes30CommentsTeams revert to regular version on start-up
Hi! I have enabled the "Public preview" option and LOVE the combined chat/channel feature! Anyways, once my computer has been switched off and I turn it on the public preview is "reverted", but if I restart Teams, it is available again - is that a known issue? Can't enable Public Preview on Web
Dear Community, Public Preview is enabled on an individual basis (i.e. everyone can choose for themselves via their Teams-settings whether to enable or disable Public Preview). On the desktop app this works perfectly fine and a lot of the preview features are highly appreciated. On the web application, on the other hand, the setting to turn on Public Preview is not available (i.e. it isn't displayed at all). According to my research, Public Preview should be available on the web as well. Our admin couldn't find any web-specific settings that might be responsible for the differences in availability between desktop and web. Does anyone have the same issue or know whether there are any specific settings to enable Public Preview for web as well? Or does anyone know of changes from Teams regarding the availability of Public Preview for web? Thank you for your help :)Another Microsoft Places Upload Error
After setting up Microsoft places I have a part (one floor) of our building made in imdf format to upload to microsoft places, I made the correlation file PS C:\Windows\System32> Import-MapCorrelations -MapFilePath "c:\temp\imdf_map.zip" -CorrelationsFilePath "c:\temp\mapfeatures.csv" INFO: Correlations file c:\temp\mapfeatures.csv was provided. Adding the Places Directory Ids to the map data according to the correlations file... INFO: No custom output file name provided, will write to imdf_correlated.zip. INFO: Updated 3 features in the map files. SUCCESS: correlated IMDF zip package created and ready to import into Places! Looks like the correct correlations where made, but after creating the map I get the following error: PS C:\Windows\System32> new-map -BuildingId xxxxxxxxxx-xxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxx -FilePath "C:\temp\IMDF_correlated.zip" New-Map: Status(StatusCode="Internal", Detail="ErrorInvalidOrgPartition") Can't find any error details on this error, what I am doing wrong... Anybody suggestions?Solved146Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Places Upload Errors
I am configuring the public preview of Microsoft Places with a client and when we tried to upload the IMDF files after uploading the building/floors CSV, the following error message appeared in the shell: "Import not supported for file fixtures.geojson" We removed that file from the IMDF zip file and tried again but a different error appeared: "No levels were found correlated to directory floors for the building" When the CSV file with building and floor data was uploaded before the configuration step, I didn't add any SMTP address values in that column because they don't exist yet. When the import script finished, a few errors appeared stating that an identity wasn't found. Maybe that's part of the issue? I'm not sure what I'm missing. Anyone else made it through this step yet in the public preview?Solved335Views0likes4CommentsAnnouncing public preview of new Mbv3 Virtual Machines

Hi Everyone. am trying to use the new public preview however when I toggle the switch "Try the New Teams", I get this message for a few seconds "The new Teams is downloading and will automatically open when it's finished." but then it switches to an error message "Something went wrong, and we couldn't install the new Teams. Please try again later." I have rebooted, I have updated to the latest version, I have enabled public preview in the settings. I have also enabled a policy in teams Admin to allow myself and my teammates access to public preview. Anyone else seen this?Microsoft Teams Preview - Windows 11
Good Morning, I have enabled the Teams Preview IAW setup document (Public preview in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn) . The policy updates and shows the "Try" slider in the upper left on all machines (Windows 10) except one which is a Windows 11 machine. I have completely uninstalled, cleared teams from user profile \appdata folder locations, reboot, and reinstall from teams.microsoft.com. The slider is still not showing. I have looked at the previous discussions, and the registry looks correct. Are there any issues / difference with the Windows 11 public preview? Thanks! 🙂 VinceTeams Public Preview Office Hours - Teams Connect Shared Channels

I have been enjoying Speaker Coach for a few weeks now, but noticed yesterday that it was gone. I also cannot toggle the Public Preview in the About section of Settings. I reached out to our Admin to make sure nothing was changed at that level, but is anyone aware of an issue with Speaker Coach being removed?
