I'm noticing a glitch that is happening with our older Snom 710/720/D725 phones, doesn't affect our Audiocodes phones. I believe it is related to STUN / ICE. When we have an external user that is connecting via our Edge Server (either a remote IP phone or S4B App) and they call an internal extension where the user has a Snom Phone, the audio will drop out after 5-10 seconds. If the internal user with a Snom phone calls that person back, the audio is fine so it is only a one-way issue. Dear Community, we are facing a issue since about 11/2021 that incoming calls through RGS showing the false number. users only get the last telephone number from the previous call with new calls. all log files (like reporting database, or local s4b logs) are showing correct telephone numbers to the calls. only the S4B Client itself shows the previous caller id on an active call. the "standard" troubleshooting steps are already done (like clearing cache, etc...) - but this does not help. the problem seems similar to following threads: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/278753/incoming-caller-id-with-response-group-showing-sam.html https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/520062/caller-id-issue-when-a-call-is-received-to-a-respo.html does anybody have similar issues...? or better, are there some solutions? overview: S4B 2019 Standard with May 2021 Update Office 365 semi-annual channel (so version 2021) s4b client: 16.0.13801.21148 We will try to update to the latest S4B Server Update (12/2021) because there are many fixes... but there is nothing in the change log which indicates a fix for this issue. Has anyone tried authenticating with an access token (using -AadAccessToken or -MsAccessToken)? The old version of New-CsOnlineSession had an -OAuthAccessToken param, which accepted a jwt with the PS permissions in the scope, which one could obtain silently, and so avoid login. This an odd one. We are 100% SfB online From time to time a user will be driving into work and want to leave a voicemail for themselves, as a reminder when they get in. This used to work in the past, however now they get a message saying "This feature is not currently available" Seems related to Skype resolving their mobile number to their contact and then is calling them-self. Hello Community , I have a SFB 2015 deployment where we were consistently saw audio lags of 15 seconds for incoming PSTN calls when "Enable RTP Latching" was not enabled on the trunk configuration. Audio codes SBC's did not suffer from this problem but Ribbon SBC's did. So we had to set up a trunk specific config for Ribbon with this option enabled. Does anyone know exactly what "Enable RTP latching" is doing ? Documentation is sketchy at best and i cant glean anything from my log captures. hi, Recently one of our customer changed their Internet Service Provider, and as such, they have a new public IP for the edge server of CCE 2.1. I had updated the DNS accordingly, but how about the MR public IP value in the cloud_connector.ini (ExternalMRPublicIPs). They are using NATing for the edge public ip. Previously ExternalMRPublicIPs is set to the old internet service provider given public IP. With the change to the new service provider, what would be the best way to update this value? ;Public External IP addresses of servers in Edge Server Pool for Media ;traffic. Should only be specified if NAT (firewall or HLB) is used. ;If NAT is not used, keep this element here and leave the value as blank. ;Currently there is only one edge server in Edge Server Pool. Hi Community, Recently, I have come across a scenario worth sharing. PSTN calls drops after 15 mins or 30 mins with Audio Codes SBC or Gateway. This can be related or occur due to numerous reason, however if everything is in place (Network to Configuration) and still the call fails, then you can try the below and if it makes the difference. User makes PSTN call > the flow and connectivity is established > after 15 or 30 mins you see BYE message generated resulting in call drop. changing/modifying the "RTCPActiveCalls" and "EnableSessionTimer" may help or simple does't make any difference. Upon isolation, found that issue is mostly triggered due to a setting in Audio Codes S.B.C "Reset SRTP Upon Re-Key" is enabled (usually disabled by default) By going in to the IP profiles > disabling the setting in AudioCodes the issue was resolved and calls no longer were dropped. P.S - This solution may or may not help you (no harm in trying), But its best recommended to contact support and take assistance if needed 🙂11KViews0likes3CommentsHybrid setup - Unknown presence when migrated back to on-premise
Hi all, I have a client with a Skype for Business Hybrid setup. Most users have been migrated to On-Line but to take advantage of PSTN features, some users require to be on-premise. When migrating a test user back to on-premise, the user is able to see contacts and presence. After logging off and back on, it comes up as unknown. I followed this article http://www.open-a-socket.com/index.php/2017/09/16/how-to-suppress-skype-for-business-attribute-synchronisation-in-aad-connect/ to suppress AD Sync Attributes but the issue still persists. Hello, We are about to roll out Polycom VVX411 phones using SfB but in our testing users are getting logged out seemingly randomly between 7-30 days. They do get an error "Exchange authentication failed. Sign out and sign in again." on their Polycom phones about 1-2 hours before the phone actually logs them out. We are running Polycom UC Software version 5.9.3.2857 We have MFA enabled for our end users also. We are using SfB and Exchange online, nothing on-prem.
