optional suggestion: new menu bar app for mac
i wish i could launch one of my edge profile (no matter from which edge) directly in the menu bar. so you create a profile launcher.app and then i can search a profile installed on my 4 browser, without need to launch a browser. at the moment we can do similar things once the browser is launched using the dock icon or using the sync icon or using the menu bar option inside edge. but there is still the limit that we can do it for one browser. we cannot search profiles installed on all 4 browser. plus every time you launch the browser, you open the last used profile. so we first need to close and then switch (which requires time). profile switching is slower in edge compared to google. now with this new app you would simply launch a profile inside an edge app, without launching the previous profile.SS33: smart pip mode - better tiktok integration (or other video social/websites) picture-in-picture

I have multiple editions of Windows 10 digital license tied to my Microsoft account and It would be really convenient if there was an option in Windows settings so I could choose another edition to Upgrade/Downgrade to. (Not with command-line or installing generic product keys) the same upgrade/downgrade user is offered when troubleshooting activation. for example, when user has Windows 10 pro license in their Microsoft account and the installed edition is Pro for workstation, the activation troubleshooter allows user to Downgrade to Pro, or Vice Versa. I know that such suggestions can be reached (or at least in some parts) via scripts, extensions, terminal or macapps and are not the main focus of browsers. Said that, if you are interested read the post, otherwise skip it. I give you simply ideas, and such ideas are really hoarding focused. I know that this is maybe not legal for all websites too. those are just ideas. First we start with a feature that i never discovered before and after trying it i discovered in opera for mac we need to useoption. i tried on edge and is not supported 2) i already talked about overlay button with both integration to mac or to onedrive as destination, or save to different folders in right menu, or drag drop download, or other https://link.ws/edgedatahoarder. another option would be to add a download button below each video and photo, no matter where. 3) about a smart select feature i already reported you before. Implemented on datahoarding activities means select 20 links and download all pdf at the same time (or other files). 4) a feature to detect images, document, movies, pdf in the site and download all that at once, or download only pdf for example. We talked about reload by domain and why such feature is cool and useful. now a similar suggestion is that you detect all website that has the same identical layout (so screenshot based). if i click via menu bar or right click menu "warn me based on this website" you color all tabs that have the similar layout/design. related to the picture, you warn me if the link has not be saved correctly on all other tabs. now about this website we generally** can see such problems via the icon in the tab, but there are a lot other examples, where we need to check manually, otherwise we batch close not completed websites. **there are still situations where the icon is not a valid method to know if the website (in this case webarchive) completed the task correctly or not. this was another example we talked via feedback app where maybe a better integration between "smart screenshot warning" and "reload tab" should happen. another suggestion related to this is to show me on the tab an icon --> that marks you are downloading files from such tab and once the download is done, you color it in green.SS37: scrollable bookmarks bar

Suggestion (SS): 34 Classification: QUIT PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 3-4 on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high) i already use different quit apps to manage my 9000 mac apps. i use it for edge too, but there is a problem. i can only tell quit after 10minutes, or 60 minutes or.... if now i have 40 edge profiles, i wish i could set quit after 10minutes for profile 1, 30minute for 2, never quit with profile x.... if 2 profile are active (example 10 and 30 minutes) you use 30minutes. would be a much better way to control ram, cpu. already macos quit app feature is HUGE limited, and apple has no idea to improve it. maybe edge can help <<<<< another option is to only quit profiles without quit edge app or a smart way to switch profile, like keep only 1 profile each time: if i launch a new one, close the other.
