Hi, I have a PowerPoint presentation that I use on Mac and iPad. It contains 3 videos. The videos will not play on PP for iPad but will on Mac. The videos will play on the iPad when not in PowerPoint. Does anyone know how I can resolve this so that they play in PP for iPad? thanks.675Views2likes0CommentsPowerPoint 16.65 and 16.66 (22090700) "arrange" menu item does not respond to mouse.
Noticed this first on the 16.65 build. Running on an M1 MBP with macOS Ventura latest beta (7) Powerpoint's "arrange" menu item does not work with a mouse. Initially was using MX3 mouse with logioptions, removed Logioptions and the issue remains. I can select "Arrange" and navigate to align etc with the arrow keys but there is no response from using a mouse. I updated to the latest build on the beta channel (22090700) and the issue is the same. Assume that is a bug. At least the arrow keys provide a workaround for now.3.8KViews2likes12CommentsCannot edit anything when PowerPoint is in Split Screen mode
I don't know when this problem started, but whenever I put the PowerPoint app into Android Split Screen mode, PowerPoint becomes read-only and I cannot edit anything. When I quit Split Screen mode, editing immediately becomes available again. I have an active Office 365 subscription and I am properly logged in to the account in PowerPoint. Word, Excel and OneNote do not have this problem at all. I remember that when I last tried a few months ago, I was able to edit when PowerPoint was opened in Split Screen. My phone is a Google Pixel 2 running Android 9.0 Pie. Please rectify the problem.1.4KViews1like1CommentWhat’s New in the Microsoft 365 app – March 2024

Hello, Microsoft 365 Insiders, We're back with an exciting new feature from PowerPoint! Who watches videos with closed captions or subtitles 100% of the time? We do! Now #PowerPoint for the web supports inserting videos with closed captions and subtitles. Originally, designed for people with disabilities, we now realize that captions are beneficial for so many reasons: watching videos quietly without disturbing others, heavy accents or foreign languages. Whatever your reason, inserting closed captions and subtitles in your embedded PowerPoint videos will allow you to both connect with your audience in the format they are familiar with while also being inclusive of people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Then with Blue Dots for Comments, you can now visually scan the Comments window and quickly identify comments or replies that have been added since you last viewed the presentation.
