Teams Panels have started signing out randomly
For the past week or so our Yealink RoomPanels have started signing themselves out, seemingly randomly. They have been running for months without issue. When it started, some were on the previous Teams App version and some were on the latest. All have subsequently been updated to the latest (1449/1.0.97.2022733702) version. Firmware etc. is all up-to-date. We don't do remote provisioning, just simple manual sign in with username and password ("Sign in on this device" option). The accounts are excluded from MFA, all have Teams Room Standard licenses with all services enabled, all have password expiration disabled. Devices show as 'Compliant' in Intune. The same resource accounts are used by the in-room MTRoW systems (obviously), and these haven't exhibited any issues - just the panels. We need to restart and manually sign back in to the affected panels, but some are signing themselves back out again hours/days later. It's all very strange! The only thing that has changed recently is we used the Set-Mailbox cmdlet to change the 'Name' and 'DisplayName' attributes on the resource accounts about a month ago as our rooms were renamed. The UPN of the accounts was not changed, just the two attributes above. The name change introduced parenthesis brackets into our room names (e.g. "Room Name (Location)") - surely that can't be the cause can it? This is how we find the devices. Cannot interact with the touch screen at all. We need to pull the power to restart and then re-sign in. When panels are in this state they show as 'Signed out' in TAC. When we updated our resource accounts with new names about a month ago we did sign out and back in to all room panels and room systems to pick-up the name change - as a restart wasn't enough. Up until this was done the panels had been running for months without issue. I'm going to try removing parenthesis from the name of one resource account, and also a factory reset on one panel. Just like when we use emojis in the emoji picker panel and we can use multiple emojis and enter them without emoji panel closing, do the same for Gifs so we can enter multiple Gifs and without having to reopen the emoji picker panel after each of them. Suggestion (SS): 28 Classification: Bookmarks PRIORITY IN MY OPINION: 4 on a scale from 1 (low) to 10 (high) Here my idea i got after visiting a suggestion in vivaldi about add current tab to a folder (which is available for vivaldi and edge). I tested it out and in edge is available, but creates problem, like where you continuosly add it under ddd instead inside ddd. only 1 time you added it in ddd. PS: is not the first time i see problems with other bookmarks, you should check if all functions really work correctly with other bookmarks. Same if i do that you should avoid to show me that for the creation of folders. <<<<<<< second: i tried to select 3 tabs, and then do the same. is not possible. <<<<<<< third: i still think vivaldi add to bookmark option without right click is much better. please consider to implement it to edge too. <<<< because we are talking about vivaldi, here other points i like reload miniature (i suggested this to you only for bookmarks bar) like i suggested you with shortcut for bookmarks and other things (i noticed only after sending you the suggestions, that vivaldi has already such option, but still limited compared to what i told you, which is much more complex) this is similar to what i told you too, but vivaldi show us directly the webpage, is not a second bookmarks bar ability to change default bookmarks bar. (NEW SUGGESTION, but less important, since i use different profile. it still remains cool) same like i wrote you yesterday to remove things from the bar position of new tab, like i suggested you keep last tab open, like i suggested you a lot of option like i suggested you (or better some things are not available in vivaldi too) show me only icons inside bookmarks bar, full name in other bookmarks or when you hide url from bookmarks bar (like suggested). i still think a way to add personal customized folder color to bookmarks is usefull too even if i don't really like to use shortcuts (via keyboard with crtl alt etc., not things like <ddd $dd) ... but i like how they do. trackpad gesture, like suggested is much more clean search always in new tab (NEW SUGGESTION) .... PS: until now i don't use vivaldi, because they create library folders problems. so i just use it as a normal second browser for quick searches. this is why maybe the list of good features is not complete. once devs fix such problem, i can send more vivaldi based suggestion too. i still think main points are now available in this post, a lot is already included in previous submitted suggestions. Here even what i don't like previews different colours for each tab ... other ... (yes, you can disable such things). about the download suggestion, something like where i can set "save to /user/ccc/applications" and then "save this website always in this folder" or "if /externaldrive/... is not available, use /user/ccc/applications instead".Edge sidebar is good but this makes it less useful
I can highlight a piece of text and search for it in the sidebar, but the moment I click on a link in sidebar, it opens a new tab! this the opposite of what I expect and want. I want to search for something in sidebar and keep using the sidebar to complete my search. the whole idea is not to leave your current tab and do your search, right? but with this behavior, the user is interrupted and taken to a different tab. another option I see missing is to right-click on a link and open it in sidebar. last thing, make the sidebar panel resizable
Unable to open modal or panel when deployed as a webpart in Sharepoint online 2013 Modern view page
I have created a web part in react js which contains a Microsoft office UI fabric control "Modal" and it pop outs on a button click. This feature works fine on my local workbench but whenever I deployed it as an app on sharepoint online and add as a web part in modern view page. Things happen something like described in the below images: Instead of coming infront of the page it opens in the area allocated to the webpart. However, after further analysis, I come to know that sharepoint add this whole webpart into an iframe and set its height according to the height of the webpart section and same goes with the Microsoft UI fabric panel. I want to know that is there a way that I can make modal or panel work as desired when deployed as a webpart in modern view SharePoint. However, it works when I deployed it as an extension (but that isn't my business requirement).
