SharePoint Capability to do OCR in PDF Documents
Hi. We have a requirement where all documents (PDF, Word, etc) with embedded images that are uploaded to SharePoint must be searchable. The text in the images must be searchable. I did find one article which says that images uploaded in the library are automatically OCRed. Does SharePoint have similar feature for images embedded in PDF and word files or should we opt for some third party tool. Kindly assist. Generate a word document from a scanned PDF using Azure Form Recognizer?
Hi all, Is it possible to generate a word file (.docx) using Azure Form Recognizer? I have found an article on how to convert scanned PDFs into searchable PDFs using Azure Form Recognizer. So, I try to first convert scanned PDFs into searchable PDFs than convert it into word documents using microsoft word, but the quality is not as good as expected. So, I want to see if there is any solutions that can directly convert scanned PDFs into word documents. Thanks
Microsoft Vision API - How to transform Extracted data from OCR to a Template?
Hi All, I am trying to work on a solution where we are submitting the bill receipt to Vision OCR API and after receiving the extracted data we need to transform it to a predefined template so that we will extract the specific data like- Total Amount, Store name, Item name, qty, price etc. Your help and guidance is appreciated. Hi all, I am quite new to Azure AI Foundry and did some first trainings and got a basic understanding of the functions. Before building the first case I thought it makes sense to ask the community how to they would tackle following use case: We have a use case where we receive certificates from customers - those are in PDF format and are the main topic to be analyzed within my use case. Each of those certificates should be screened on specific formulations and other potential issues (which are written down in a guideline and a word document). So the process should be, that users upload the certificate as a PDF (in either a chatbot environment or application) and a detailed prompt gets executed that reads through the text and checks for the criteria written down in guideline + word. What would be the best way to build this case from your perspective? We also have PowerApps/PowerAutomate to make use of additionally. Thank you very much in advance for your feedback.
