3 TopicsHow to Remove Old Memberships from a user?
Hello Everyone: I'm new to SharePoint and have been experimenting with SharePoint 2007 (I know... ancient). I've kind of gotten myself into quite the unusual bind and need some help getting out. The Back story: I began experimenting with SharePoint 2007 about a week or two ago and had several failed deployments. After each failed attempt at doing one thing or another, I would delete the site collections, sites, and SSPs associated with it along with the SQL Server databases. Now that I've finally gotten it working (hopefully) the failed attempts are showing up in one of my user's "My Links" and "my memberships" on their My Site. How in SharePoint Server 2007 do I go about cleaning up these things? Also I seem to have created 2 sites called "Policies & Procedures" and thus need to de-link the test version from the current version. to see what I'm referencing, see the screenshots If possible, I'd prefer to not have to start over or delete the AD user since I'm also using CRM. Any thoughts?479Views0likes0CommentsSharePoint Central Administration and MySites not Working
Hello All, I have been tasked with determining why our SharePoint Farm Central Administration page won't load. We cannot currently administer our Farm using the Central Admin Console. I know some other Engineers tried to perform a Nintex update that initially caused issues requiring a restore. They decided to restore from a VM snap taken before the Nintex update. We have 6 SharePoint servers with 2 SQL in an AG. The Farm seems to function for our users, but we cannot make changes. I've started to look into the event log. I'm getting a lot of Event ID:3351. Source="Microsoft-SharePoint Products-SharePoint Foundation" Task Category: Database Level: Critical SQL database login for 'SharePoint_Config' on instance 'SQLAG' failed. Additional error information from SQL Server is included below. Login failed for user 'US\WEBSERVER$.' Event ID: 6398 Log Name: Application Source: Microsoft-SharePoint Products-SharePoint Foundation Task Category: Timer Level: Critical Description: The Execute method of job definition Nintex.Administration.Common.ConsumptionLicensingJob.NintexSynchronization (ID) threw an exception. More information is included below. [SPContentDatabase Name=WSS_Content_MySites] is unsupported and cannot be used by the current Farm. Has anyone seen something like this and have any advice? Should I be looking at other logs to help aid me in troubleshooting? Thanks for your time and consideration.1.3KViews0likes0CommentsHow redirect clicking on user to Delve
Hi everyone, I have an issue with SP Online, where clicking on User name will redirect me to the old mysite page (https://{tenantname}-my.sharepoint.com/PersonImmersive.aspx?accountname={accountname}) In all the other tenants I will be redirected to Delve profile page. How can I accomplish redirecting user links to Delve not MySite? Any help is much appriciated Mihkel1.6KViews0likes2Comments
