ms teams meetings
3 TopicsManaging a Teams meeting created in MS Bookings
Having some trouble managing online meetings created by Bookings. One main issue is that it is very difficult determining who the organizer of those meetings actually is. Even the people who are added as staff to the event don't have access to the meeting controls, such as creating breakout rooms etc. Our IT dept has assigned a user mailbox to the Bookings account, which helped somewhat, but it is still not ideal, as I have to sign into this account on our desktop Teams app for every meeting I want to have control over. It still doesn't allow the possibility of assigning co-organizers, so I have to attend all the meetings that I schedule on behalf of others, in case they need help creating breakout rooms, recording the meetings, etc. This is obviously cumbersome, as it would be best to give organizer permissions for someone who is actually running the meeting. Has anyone found a way to make Teams meetings created by Bookings work well?2.3KViews1like2CommentsUsing Microsoft Teams Rooms for Multi- Disciplinary Clinical (MDM) meetings
Hey. I was wanting to find out a bit more about the potential of using MS Teams to host MDM meetings. We host a number of these meetings, these are case conference meetings where patients are discussed with the clinicians from our hospital and other clinicians from other hospitals. At these some of these meetings there is a requirement to be able to share 2 desktop screen images with people joining the meeting, to show things like a comparison between different CT scans, see example image below at end . We have wanted to simplify things and look at these rooms set up as room where clinicans can come into the room and join a meeting (i.e. room is set up as a Teams room). We have been able to test and do this with a Zoom Room, configured with the ability to share content from multiple screens using the room control chat panel and to share both at HD(1080p). Can this be done in teams today? If not is it on the roadmap for development? If so are there any resource around how to set this up and make it work.Solved2KViews1like2CommentsHelp to understand the access of chat history in MS Teams Meetings - recurring meetings
Hi! I and some colleagues at my company have discussion a very important topic regarding MS Teams meetings and the chat history. According to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/leave-or-remove-someone-from-a-group-chat-7db55a67-0ba4-4409-a399-5ed502a1d094 from the chat, the participant removed from a chat will be able to view previous chat history, but won't be able to send new messages, react to messages, and won't be able to view new conversations or files shared by the group. Now the question is how about recurring meetings. Let me try to describe a scenario. We have a meeting recurring 10 times, let's say once a week. At the second meeting (week 2), I add a guest (within same company) to my meeting invitation via Outlook. The person attends and he/she can read and write in the meeting chat. After the meeting, I as the meeting host removes this guest according to the link above. The week goes on with all the original participants. The last meeting recurring, i.e. week 10, I invite the same guest or another person to the that meeting via Outlook by updating the invitation. QUESTION: Will that new guest have access to the meeting chat that have been active from the first meeting? Or is it just when the person have attended the meeting and then when remove, no more access? I'm hoping that some experts here can shed some light on this matter as it's an integrity and security matter as well. Thanks and best regards Yassin KoleilatSolved33KViews0likes3Comments
