The mega menu in the top navigation bar for the site I am working on is no longer triggering the overflow ellipsis function for sublink strings that are too long. Instead, the strings are just spilling over into the next header link section within the menu. This happened a few days ago out of the blue. I can recall no specific action that caused it. Does anybody else have a similar issue or a recommended fix? Example of the issue:1.6KViews0likes2CommentsMega menu's not showing on mobile devices
We are currently working on a new sharepoint intranet, based on the new homesites. We added megamenus, which work great. When looking at the SP pagina from a mobile device or via the app, we don't see the mega menu's however. Only 'home' and 'my sharepoint' show up on the hamburger menu. Does anyone know what be going on?1.5KViews0likes1CommentUnable to add sublinks to mega menu
Hoping someone may be able to help me out here I'm trying to set up the mega menu as it should make it easier for our users to find information However when I go to edit the menu I get taken to a classic page for editing the navigation and it doesn't seem to allow me to add sub links more than 2 levels down The navigation I am trying to edit is on a hubsite, but for the parent site in case this makes a difference557Views0likes0CommentsIssues with Mega Menu Navigation Links to other Sites
Hi Everyone, Configuring the Mega Menu on the Default modern communications hub site (new tenant), when going to save after adding the URL to another associated private team site it won’t actually save. (At one stage got a Something went wrong message below the Hero WebPart) Have not added any other permissions besides the default Everyone except external users to the comm site; would this cause issues? The admin account (SharePoint Service Administrator role) being used is in Owner group of all sites... Would Global Admin (Company Administrator) make a difference here? i.e. from SP Admin Center. UPDATE: Made the SP Admin account the Site Collection Owner, and that made no immediate difference. The other thing, not sure if new change, but when saving headers in the Mega Menu they get turned into URLs that go to the root site address... Anyone experience this or know what has missed? 🧐🤔 did not have any of these issues when doing this in an existing tenant.Solved6.7KViews0likes9CommentsMega Menu issues - duplication of menu
I was making some changes to our mega menu (in a Team Site not associated with Office 365) and somehow have managed to duplicate the entire menu, which becomes visible only when hovering over one of the options. I can see no way to roll back to an earlier version of the menu to try and correct the fault and when I edit the mega menu options there's no duplication to be seen... Can anyone suggest any fixes?1.3KViews0likes2Comments
