mail flow
6 TopicsGoogle Workspace migration to Microsoft 365 with multiple domains
I'm managing a project to migrate mail from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 via (Google Workspace Migration). My scenario is composed as follows: Primary domain in GWS: domain1.com Secondary domain in GWS: domain2.com Routing domain (alias domain) in GWS: m365.domain1.com and gws.domain1.com Microsoft side: accepted domain: domain1.com,domain2.com, m365.domain1.com and gws.domain1.com Users domain1.com have aliases routing domain m365.domain1.com and external forwarding gws.domain2.com. Users domain2.com have aliases routing domain m365.domain1.com and external forwarding gws.domain1.com. For users domain1.com the hybrid coexistence scenario, mailflow and batch work perfectly. For domain2.com users, the batch works, but at the time of completion, it returns an error that Google asks for verification of the forwarding address, as it is different from domain2.com. “GmailForwardingAddressRequiresVerificationException” Which configuration am I doing wrong? And above all, is the scenario in question supported? Thank you164Views1like1CommentExchange Online: Connector creation failed
Hi all, I have a dev tenant running to do some POCs for customers. I need to do a POC and for this POC I need to create a connector in Exchange Online. I was always able to doing so, but now I get the error: ################################### Connector creation failed Error: Error executing request. For this service offering, you can’t create or update inbound connectors in your organization ‘TENANT ID’. ################################### I'm trying to search online, but it does not bring any luck. Created a case at Microsoft, also no luck (yet). I was (2 months ago) always able to create or edit connectors (in the GUI or PS) and now suddenly not. Does someone knows how to fix this? Hey guys, I'm currently trying to define a Mail-Flow-Rule which checks whether an E-Mail was sent from someone who has the permission to write a mail as a delegate. E.g.: We have two users: Chief and Sub Sub is a substitute of Chief Sub writes an E-Mail for Chief => The E-Mail header "From" is Sub while the "Sender" Header is Chief The check works fine, but I cannot include specific AD Properties from Chief into the Mail. When using for example %%Email%%, the Mail-Adress from Sub is injected into the disclaimer. My questions: - Is there a way to get specific Informations about Chief? - Is there another feature aside from "Mail Flow Rules" which allows this?637Views0likes0CommentsSMTP relay - Client host rejected: AP0002
Hello everyone, We have to send emails to a Bouyges address (a french telecom company) and I got this back: Sorry, no SMTP connection got far enough; most progress: RCPT TO response; remote host said: 554 5.7.1 <...dsl.sta.abo.bbox.fr>: Client host rejected: AP0002 Please use your ISP mailserver. (#5.5.0) I searched on Google to find a way to send the emails and what I understand is that I have to configure the SMTP relay of Bouyges. What I found are only configurations for postfix and I don't know how to configure it on an Exchange On-premise server, do you have any info? The SMTP server of Bouyges is smtp.bbox.fr What I don't know if it's possible to do is to use this relay only for the bbox mails address. Thanks for any help!1.2KViews0likes0CommentsEXCHANGE-Online: powershell to get the number of mails in inbox not in a specific category
Hi All, I have a specific question. I want via powershell get the number of mails in the inbox of a online shared mailbox that do not have a specific category.... Seems special request? Let me explain why i'm looking for it. We have monitoring software that can execute powershells and get results of it. I now want to monitor our dynamics 365 support mailbox to see if all mails are tranferred towards Dynamics365 correctly. For this reason Dynamics 365 can read a specific mailbox inbox, to see if new mails have come in. When Dynamics 365 sees this, the mail gets "tracked" to Dynamics 365 and gets a category applied to it "Traced to Dynamics 365". In normal scenario, this works well, and mails get tracked etc.... Sometimes there are problems tracking. Sometime some mails are not tracked, sometimes the connector between Dynamics 365 and Exchange fails etc... As we rely heavy on this mail traffic in our support department, this causes a problem if not cached. So with this powershell i want to return a number, be it the number of mails without that category in the inbox. If this number gets too high.....then we have a problem and our monitor software can react and send alarms... Any ideas would be appreciated..
