Yes - we have a few policies, and yes all have the same settings regardingMeeting join & lobby. Do you have any idea what's wrong?479Views0likes1CommentAttendees in Lobby Hearing Each Other while waiting
I am a teacher at an elementary school and have had a few teachers notice something interesting happening in their Lobby. While they are working with small groups of students in their main meeting, they have the rest of their class waiting in the lobby to be admitted. Students are now back in the building, and they follow this same procedure. When waiting in the lobby, the teachers have noticed that their students can hear each other - talking, using digital resources, background noise at home, etc. The teacher in the meeting cannot hear this and only learned about it from the student perspective now that they are in person! We understand they can chat, but this is audio. https://photos.app.goo.gl/9nqH11BkaQw1V5Uc6 Teachers are concerned about safety. Is there a setting we are missing? Or something to adjust on their end to prevent this from happening? They have made new links and it continues. Any help is appreciated!6.2KViews0likes13CommentsMicrosoft Teams Lobby order
We use Teams to answer our students' questions, but we use the lobby to keep them waiting until they are answered individually. For this we would like to know the order of entry of each participant in the meeting. Example: If Brian enters the meeting first, he will be waiting in the lobby, then if Adele enters the meeting, she will also be waiting in the lobby, but when looking at the waiting list Adele is in first even though she joined after Brian. Would it be possible to keep the lobby list in order of entry rather than alphabetical order?2.2KViews0likes4CommentsTeams Lobby - Admit All Function?
Hello, I'll be hosting a large Teams meeting and configured the setting to only allow Co-Organizers bypass the lobby. Once we are ready to begin the meeting, is there an admit all function? Or will I have to individually admit each 500+ lobby guest? Thanks!Solved1.7KViews0likes2CommentsUsing Lobby to Give Out Information to People Waiting
Hi. At my education institution we run online drop ins. where students can show up without booking an appointment. However, as it is first come first served, it means we have to have a queuing system i.e. we would speak to one student for about 15-20 minutes and then see the next. So, we have to put all those who are waiting into the lobby. Two questions: - Is there a way to display information in the lobby so everyone knows I am with a student and they need to wait, without having to tell each new person this? - How can I message the lobby without having to use the @ with a student i.e. if I just type in the chatbox then those in the lobby won't see it, but if I use @ with a student in the lobby, they see it Thanks2.3KViews0likes1CommentParticipant get stuck in breakout room lobby
Hi We have participants who get stuck in the lobby in breakout rooms, eventhough the main room meeting setting is set to allow everyone to skip the lobby. In the main meeting no get stuck in the lobby. When you check the meeting setting in the breakout room, only people from our organization can skip the lobby. The main room settings and the breakout room setting are not the same. Can you change the meeting setting default for meeting setting? We use Teams meetings only. No channel breakout rooms.2.4KViews0likes2CommentsSome guests bypass lobby
Hello everybody, we have a problem with the lobby feature of teams. Today we had a meeting with about 100 participants, mainly external guests. Most of the guests were initially in the lobby as planned. However, individual guests were able to bypass the lobby and were directly in the meeting. At first I thought it was because they were already guests in our organization, so Teams sees them as internal users. But apart from that this would not make sense I compared some of the users that were in the lobby and some of them who bypassed it. I dont see any pattern, users from both groups are already in our guest directory in azure AD. It has nothing to do with the rejoin-problem mentioned here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/teams-meeting-external-guest-after-been-removed-by-org-staff-can/m-p/1281241#M51499 The guests bypassed the lobby at frist try. Does somebody has an idea? Did I forget something? Kind regards Marco4.1KViews0likes6Commentshow to make people in my organization to wait at the lobby during meeting in teams
