Matter WakeUp System AI - Intel OpenVino Gestures and local models
Welcome to our blog, where we present our work on the WakeUp System AI, triggers with AI for assisting patients on the bedside. This blog will present the project overview and journey, including the different triggers we developed, the results and outcomes, a section on the evaluation of the system with stakeholders, lessons learned, future development and calls for action. This project is important as it will give patients the ability to have more autonomous control of their environment, reducing the number of calls made to staff, and allowing them to focus more on emergency situations and services. A key part of the project is the integration of Matter, a new application layer connectivity protocol for smart home devices.
SQL Server license per core vs Intel Speed Select Technology
Microsoft SQL Server is licenced by core. Some Intel processors have Speed Select Technology that enables for controling the number of cores that are actually used. For example, Intel® Xeon® Gold 6548Y+ Processor wich has 32 cores can work with only 16 active cores. Does this affect licensing price? Can the setup be treated as a 16 core server?
Update from Intel will not install
There is an update from Intel that has been trying to download. It's Intel Corporation - HDC - 18.34.3.1003. I'm getting an Install error - 0x8007012a. I'm currently using Windows 11 Version 22523.1000. I've been trying to complete the install for several days. DO you have any suggestions? Thank you... On Windows 10 build 20H1 Stable And also on build 19042.330 (slow/beta) ring, the graphic driver that is automatically installed from Windows Update is extremely Outdated. the latest version is 27.20.100.8280 which is officially available on Intel website. but the version that gets installed automatically from Windows Update is 26.xxxxx Feedback Hub: https://aka.ms/AA8r3yx
