One thing that the new edge is lacking and seriously needs to bring back that internet explorer and the old edge had was that in the top left corner an inprivate icon to indicate you're using inprivate browsing. The current inprivate mode looks too chrome like and is easy to mistake it for chrome. With the blue inprivate icon in the top left corner, it would give edge a sense of uniqueness from chrome and it was in both the old edge and internet explorer, it worked perfectly then and there really is no reason to not bring it back. Looking at a side by side comparison, the browser looked better when it had the blue inprivate icon when you were using inprivate mode3.9KViews16likes7CommentsAbility to disable cookie sharing with InPrivate browsing
It would be fantastic if we could add an option to disable cookie sharing between different InPrivate windows and/or tabs. I use multiple admin accounts and currently have to use InPrivate across multiple browsers today since cookies are shared within an InPrivate session. If we provided a setting to disable this behavior then I could use a single browser moving forward. This is a common problem with all browsers today and not just Edge. This feature would set Edge apart from all the other browsers on the market and very convenient for admins.4.9KViews4likes9CommentsSuggestion: Enable Ctrl+Shift+T in InPrivate mode, same as in Internet Explorer 11 and Firefox
--Sorry I'm using Google Translate-- --Sorry if I posted in the wrong place-- It may seem like a silly feature, but it is quite useful. Example: When using a computer that is not ours (or not) and searching by opening several tabs (search results from Google, Bing, Youtube and others), sometimes we accidentally close a tab and do not remember which site or which link we click that it was closed. Here is an example gif in Internet Explorer: Here is an example gif in Firefox: In Firefox, you still have a history panel, even if you are in private browsing. A resource to consider.1.3KViews2likes0Comments
