Skype for Business Hybrid - More tenants
Hi I have a Skype for Business on-premises installation with more than one sip domain, and want to enable Hybrid mode https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/hybrid/plan-hybrid-connectivity#infrastructure-requirements, says only a single tenant is allowed with one on-premises skype for Business, but I have a tenant per sip domain. I can setup multible Azure AD Connect servers and filter out which users are synchronize to which tenant, so a user will only exist in one tenant But will this work, and is this supported?
Update SIP Address - Lync Server 2013 - SFB Online Hybrid
How can we update the SIP address for users in a Lync Server 2013 / Skype for Business hybrid scenario? When I go to the Lync Server 2013 control panel and look up the user, I cannot edit the SIP Address. What is the supported method for updating the SIP address? PowerShell? ADSI edit? If so, which field or fields need to be updated?
SfB - some callees cannot hear me
Weird situation that I need help troubleshooting - Using Skype for Business client and VVX desk phone, I make a call to a particular business and they cannot hear me. I call that business from my cell phone and they can hear me. Using Skype for Business client and VVX phone, call a different business number, I can be heard. This one business (and a couple others, including a fedex office) cannot hear my voice. How can I find out if it is MY skype for business issue or if it the business's phone issue?Can I use Skype Meeting Broadcast with a hybrid deployment if on-prem is Lync Server 2013?
Hi, I am very interested in leveraging the Skype Meeting Broadcast capabilities for our company. We have E1 licenses for everyone but our Skype deployment is using Lync Server 2013 on-prem, and will likely remain that way for a while. I have been reading through the documentation for this and it isn't clear to me if Skype for Business Server 2015 is required to do this hybrid setup or if we can do hybrid with Lync Server 2013 and still use Broadcast. That is why I thought it was a requirement... however, once inside that article, I saw there was this article: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj205403.aspx, which contained instructions server 2015 as well as 2013 here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj205403(v=ocs.15).aspx. It looks like the hybrid configuration is supported with Lync Server 2013 on premises, but I can't tell for sure if that includes support for Skype Meeting Broadcast, or of that is just for basic capabilities.
