Hi I have a Skype for Business on-premises installation with more than one sip domain, and want to enable Hybrid mode https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/hybrid/plan-hybrid-connectivity#infrastructure-requirements, says only a single tenant is allowed with one on-premises skype for Business, but I have a tenant per sip domain. I can setup multible Azure AD Connect servers and filter out which users are synchronize to which tenant, so a user will only exist in one tenant But will this work, and is this supported?1.7KViews0likes4CommentsUpdate SIP Address - Lync Server 2013 - SFB Online Hybrid
How can we update the SIP address for users in a Lync Server 2013 / Skype for Business hybrid scenario? When I go to the Lync Server 2013 control panel and look up the user, I cannot edit the SIP Address. What is the supported method for updating the SIP address? PowerShell? ADSI edit? If so, which field or fields need to be updated?8.7KViews0likes3CommentsSFB online Client Sign in and Authentication Deep Dive ;Part 7 (Hybrid)

Today, I am very happy to announce General Availability (GA) for Hybrid Modern Authentication (HMA) for Skype for Business and Exchange. This is a major milestone in our Modern Authentication journey. This will enable customers to use Modern Auth enabled security features such as Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), Cert Based Authentication (CBA), AAD Conditional Access (CA) and Intune Mobile Application Management (MAM) for all their users, both those homed online as well as those homed onprem. Here is a visual of the topology: This design requires you to use Azure Active Directory as the authorization server for your onprem SfB and onprem Exchange deployments (note the blue arrow from SfB onprem and Exchange onprem to AUTH in the cloud). The prerequisites and instructions to enable HMA can be found here: https://aka.ms/ModernAuthOverview Updated list of SfB MA Supported Topologies is here: Skype for Business topologies supported with Modern Authentication Also, two of my colleagues have published their own excellent blogs on this topic. Weird situation that I need help troubleshooting - Using Skype for Business client and VVX desk phone, I make a call to a particular business and they cannot hear me. I call that business from my cell phone and they can hear me. Using Skype for Business client and VVX phone, call a different business number, I can be heard. This one business (and a couple others, including a fedex office) cannot hear my voice. How can I find out if it is MY skype for business issue or if it the business's phone issue?703Views0likes0CommentsSkype Meeting Broadcast in a hybrid enviroment
We are trying to test Skype Meeting Broadcast, but have not been able to get it to work. We are setup hybrid between lync 2013 onprem and s4b online. The user testing is on s4b online, but it keeps failing when he tries to start the broadcast. Is this configuration supported and does anyone here have it working in a hybrid environment? thanks,jb1.1KViews0likes1Comment
