Hello, I just need to verify the below design. We have S4B 2015 and will integrate it with Cisco call manager and have M365 E3. https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/solutions/collateral/enterprise/interoperability-portal/skyp-for-business.pdf Our goal is to migrate some users to MS Teams with enterprise voice to be able to communicate with on-premises users through the assign line URI. Based on my understanding there are two ways to do this either using direct routing for MS teams client or using Hybrid voice for S4B Online client. So, I have some questions to make things clear Whats the best solution for this scenario? Do we need to implement SBC in all hybrid scenarios? Do we need a special M365 license for Phone System (Cloud PBX) to be able to enable enterprise voice for the migrated users? after checking this article. Microsoft dose not mention if migrating users to MS Teams is double they mentioned only migrating users to S4B online. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/skypeforbusiness/skype-for-business-hybrid-solutions/plan-your-phone-system-cloud-pbx-solution/enable-users-for-phone-systemSolved7.8KViews0likes5CommentsDeployment Loop - SfB User calling Teams User via Call>Work
Hybrid mode has been setup as per docs. A user has been moved from Sfb to Teams (user is now Teams Only). A SfB user can find the person and it shows as a Teams user and can call them peer to peer (Skype call) fine (sfb client to teams client) However, what this customer has is that the default option when clicking on call is "Work" when finding the user in SfB. Work is the phone number of the user (their LineURI). I would have presumed if they call this number then a Reverse Number Lookup is done and treats it as a peer-to-peer call so would work same as the working method. However, looking at the logs it seems to send it out to sipfed.online.lync.com via the EDGE server (so not via SBC) to the telephone number into the Teams tenant. Again, I would expect this to still work as the number is programmed for the user in Teams PowerShell. But what I get is “Deployment location loop detected: request arrived from the deployment location of the target user” From this it seems to imply that the user is still Skype for Business and therefore Microsoft won't accept it.... btw I can call the Direct Dial correctly when calling from the outside (SBC sends directly to Teams). Any ideas?812Views0likes0CommentsOn-premise user unable to chat with TeamsOnly user.
Our organization purchased only 100 o365 licenses, which is less than 500. So all online users automatically become TeamsOnly. I can't change TeamsOnly mode due to this microsoft policy https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4465277/microsoft-teams-now-the-primary-client-for-meetings-and-calling. Now, thanks to federation, on-premise SFB users may communicate with other tenants' Teams users. However, can't communicate with people who are in the same organization but online. And that is kinda stupid. I hope that people will notice that o365 is much more convenient and purchase more o365 seats. One of the most amazing cloud features is Teams, it gives excellent collaboration experience. However, if online users can’t communicate with on-premise users, they won’t use Teams at all. Is there any possibility to let Teams users communicate with on-premise SFB users?7.5KViews0likes12CommentsMicrosoft Teams hybrid

We have just setup hybrid Exchange ( Exchange 2016) and all users are still on prem. OAuth is set up and working for calendar access. Voicemail messages from Teams internal calls are not delivered to Outlook. We have not utilized Exchange Unified messaging in the past. Is there something needed to set up Teams Voice Mail delivery to Outlook? (I understand that the messages are not available in Teams until the mailbox is pushed to the cloud) Thanks!955Views0likes0CommentsCalender in Teams not working with Onprem Mailboxes / Hybrid with Exchange 2016
Hi, we have a hybrid echange 2016 with office 365. ADsync is working and we managed to succesfull config the classic hybrid. we can migrate mailboxes to the oline exchange, but most of the boxes are on the onprem exchange. we upgrades to Exchange 2016 CU16. In Teams you can see the Calender in left pane, but it fails to show up -> Couldn´t load your calender. Lets give it another try The HWC could be completed succesfully and the firewall daos not block anythin on port 80 or 443. We tried with and without online exchange licences even for the onprem mailboxes. Only the User with Online Mailboxes can see the calender in teams. Same in Web and Desktop App. Can anyone help what to check?6.9KViews0likes4Comments
