Hi, I have been having issues since the latest beta (1023) update on my PC. Can't start many apps. like written above. I tried running chkdsk /f - fixed some issue but not solved. Tried sfc /scannow (ran it 3 or 4 times) - no change. Tried DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth Also - no change... I am also experiencing DPC Watchdog errors randomly with GSOD. Appreciate if someone can help 🙂 I really don't want to start windows fresh installation.....2.6KViews2likes16CommentsHow to give feedback without a non-server Windows?
The only computers running Windows that I manage or own only have server editions on them. I've come across many, many bugs, crashes and other annoyances in the betas and release candidates, and I'd really love to report them properly, but the Feedback Hub seems to simply not exist nor function on Windows Server 2019. Is this really the case, or should I simply post it all here and trust that it's taken "as seriously"?2.3KViews2likes6CommentsLet us add more Settings options to Quick Actions in Action Center
I want to be able to add any settings page in Windows Settings to the Quick Actions of Action Center. that will help me access frequently visited settings pages faster. I usually remove the options in Quick Actions that I don't use so there is always vacant space there that can be filled with other Settings pages I personally need. I have multiple editions of Windows 10 digital license tied to my Microsoft account and It would be really convenient if there was an option in Windows settings so I could choose another edition to Upgrade/Downgrade to. (Not with command-line or installing generic product keys) the same upgrade/downgrade user is offered when troubleshooting activation. for example, when user has Windows 10 pro license in their Microsoft account and the installed edition is Pro for workstation, the activation troubleshooter allows user to Downgrade to Pro, or Vice Versa. I have noticed what appears to be an abandonment of the feedback hub from Microsoft Development's side. I have submitted several items/problems/suggestions over the last year, and have yet to get any response at all. In addition, browsing other feedback reveals a similar pattern with all feedback posted. Has MS abandoned Feedback Hub? Is it depreciated, or is it simply a matter of lack of resources? I can understand have a massive backlog, looming deadlines, and the lack of need in finding more to add to the workload. However, if we are to continue to be active members in a testing community, we need to know where and how to provide feedback. It behooves us and MS to understand the most effective and productive ways to communicate.Solved1.1KViews0likes3CommentsAllow Call feature on Your Phone app to work WITHOUT Bluetooth. use it over INTERNET or WIFI
Allow Call feature on Your Phone app to work WITHOUT Bluetooth. use it over INTERNET or WIFI my PC has no Bluetooth, majority of PCs don't, only laptops have it. it shouldn't be necessary to use Bluetooth to use call functionality in the Your Phone app. please let us answer or initiate calls over Internet/4G/WiFi/Local network. Add my day's To-Do list items to the Agenda section of Windows 10, when clicking on time and date at the bottom right corner in Windows 10 I want to see my To-Do list items for today. currently the only way to view my To-Do list is to open the full app on Windows 10 or go to the website using the browser. if I could see them in the Agenda section in Windows 10, it would be a great reminder and I could see what I have to do for today. I know we can set notifications and reminders for each To-Do list item individually but that's Not what I need. the Agenda section in Windows 10 already shows the Calendar events but I don't use Calendar events that much and I rare have any events to set on my Windows 10 Calendar and when I do, they are for future, like 2 months later, 6 weeks later etc. showing To-Do list items in Agenda section would be convenient and it also Belongs to Agenda. Calendar events And To-Do list items of the day can both be displayed in Agenda. Uservoice Feedback HubBring back the UPVOTE button for the Problems in Feedback Hub app
Bring back the UPVOTE button for the Problems in Feedback Hub app. there is no point in removing it. Microsoft recently removed the ability to Upvote on "problem" feedbacks, by removing the UPVOTE button altogether. that was a bad decision. Feedback hub app was already problematic because most of the feedbacks that don't receive upvotes were lost among thousands of feedbacks, also lack of moderation and human intervention to classify, read feedbacks and fix them. this move made things just worse.
