(MAJOR BUG) Bookmarks dont shift by drag and drop when selected (even multiple selecting is broken). See invalid button when dragging multple bookmarks. I dont face same issues in any browser including chrome and firefox and opera and brave and vivaldi whatsoever. Only edge browser has these unique bugs. And this bug is common in all edge browsers and on all platforms. Checked before posting this.319Views0likes0Comments(MAJOR BUGS) "Found81results" is together, no space, and wrong when selected results are 137?
(MAJOR BUGS) "Found81results" is together, no space, and wrong when selected results are 137? Edges of the browser. This is edge browser, which wants us to ditch Google Chrome. Never faced such childish bugs in chrome in 20 years of usage. Common in all edge browsers on all devices. Checked personally every one of them and can confirm.588Views0likes0CommentsFIDO2 support Edge for Linux
Hi, https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-endpoint-manager-blog/microsoft-endpoint-manager-adds-management-and-compliance-checks/bc-p/3611732#M1064 Intune for Linux will be linked to the usage of Edge4Linux. So far so good. But ... .... https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/authentication/fido2-compatibility ... with no FIDO2 compatibility for Edge and just for Chrome this leads to a hard decision. Do I choose the conformity of the linux device or the best way to log into azure? Is security really an option for Microsoft? Has someone an info if and when FIDO2 support will come to Edge4Linux? Hi Team, Have noticed that, MS Edge taking over default settings for pdf documents. Sometimes resulting with error when opening PDF within SAP applciation as below Software Name: SAP/Microsoft EDGE Error Message: Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe--single-argument Rather it should open directly with Adobe. Yes, we have policy to open PDF externally, but that download the PDF files first and need to click that PDF to open. Can we change this behaviour? or any known issue with PDF with EDGE? or what is solution for this? please help2.9KViews0likes0CommentsAre there plans to enable touch screen compatibility in the Windows version of Chromium Edge?
Are there plans to enable touch screen compatibility in the Windows version of Chromium Edge? Specifically: Fix press-and-hold right-click bugs Pressing and holding in page content doesn't currently trigger the square to indicate when a right-click has been activated Pressing and holding in the toolbar triggers the square to indicate a right-click, but it doesn't go away Ability to reorder toolbar items (favorites and extensions) with touch Ability to drag text (into a new tab, into text boxes, or into Collections) with touch Modify controls that appear only on hover (e.g. selection tool in Collections and delete button on autofill items) so that they appear all the time so they can be selected with touch (a workaround for the Collections issue to make a "select" button to show the select buttons) Fix text selection behavior to match that of the Windows system and other Windows apps (where tapping a word only once will select it, instead of the current behavior where you have to press and hold and it also shows the right-click menu) for consistency and improved user experience Classic Edge was great for touch screens, and it's a shame to see that there has been no improvement whatsoever in this area for Chromium Edge.1KViews0likes0CommentsAnyone down for Edge logo options?
So is it me or the new Microsoft Edge log not as fun? You know what would be fun? Options. I would love to see a buried settings options for the type of logo we can have. Hell, I think if they give us the option to swap between the Spartan Logo, Edge logo, and New Edge logo that will be fun. I love options and Windows has always been the better bet for it. Let us have fun with one of the most important apps we use on our computers.1.6KViews1like6CommentsFacts about Edge Stable version [+ Link] - And what we know so far
The Stable version of the new Edge browser is publicly available to download from Microsoft servers: https://c2rsetup.officeapps.live.com/c2r/downloadEdge.aspx?ProductreleaseID=Edge&platform=Default&version=Edge&Channel=Stable&language=en Keep Reading, it's not officially available on the front page and for any reason that Microsoft has, they let it stay online and available for us to test and use it. So, this is neither an accident, nor a mistake. there are certain rules and security measures that apply to files on a server and Microsoft employees, probably better than anyone else, know how to make a file secure. Clearly, if Microsoft wanted only their employees to have access to this file, they would have done so long time ago and anyone else would receive an "Access Denied" Error. but as you see there is no such error when accessing that link. The source of that link: it consists of 2 parts https://c2rsetup.officeapps.live.com/c2r/downloadEdge.aspx (which is well known) ?ProductreleaseID=Edge&platform=Default&version=Edge&Channel=Stable&language=en (which is the next part that is called Query String and is very easy to understand if you know that programming language) so you see, nothing unknown or strange about that link, all very simple. If Microsoft did not want people to download it, you would get a message like this after clicking on that link: Reminder: You are able to Uninstall it and the Latest version of Edge (chromium based) Stable is: Version 79.0.309.7 (Official build) (64-bit) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/DeployEdge/microsoft-edge-sysupdate-windows-updates See the screenshots: these were all the facts so far about the stable version of Edge insider, hope it shed some light over the whole idea and hopefully we will learn more from Microsoft employees themselves. Have a nice day!6.9KViews3likes19Comments
