driver updates

Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client is being flagged an obsolete software and will stop receiving security updates starting July 12th, but I have done a lot of searching on the internet and getting a mixed results on whether this is true or not. So I figured I would ask here to see if anyone else is dealing with this situation and what conclusion can be made here. For example, Microsoft has a blog post regarding the software that says the software is obsolete on July 12th, which can be seen here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/sql-server-blog/snac-lifecycle-explained/ba-p/385381 However, I have been told that there is an exception to the rule that says it is supported "in SQL Server 2012 through 2019 until their respective end-of-support lifecycles", described at the bottom here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/native-client/applications/support-policies-for-sql-server-native-client?view=sql-server-ver16 So I guess my ultimate question is: Will "SQL Server 2012 Native Client" still receive security updates post July 12th of this year?6.3KViews1like0CommentsProblems with surface go 1st gen
I was normally trying to update my beautiful surface go 1st gen when other than the insider previews of Windows 11 there is a failed attempt to update the "Surface HIDClass-5/29/2018-2.3.139.0" driver that delivers an install error " 0x8007012a", I tried retrying the update and using the windows update troubleshoot but nothing worked, does anyone have a fix for this?935Views0likes1CommentIntune Driver & Firmware Updates - GCC-High
I was super excited about the reveal of Driver & Firmware updates through Intune. We recently migrated to GCC-High (which lacks a number of features) though, and this is not yet available. Has anyone heard any word on when this might be available for GCC-High? We really need a solid solution for updating drivers, and I was hoping this would be released soon, but I can't find out any information on timelines.899Views0likes0CommentsSelect multiple drivers and approve, reject or archive them | Intune Windows policies
I don't know if anyone has already manually checked all driver updates (Windows policies) in Intune one by one, but it is not possible. In total I have hundreds of drive updates ready, the majority of which are old and as far as I'm concerned can be archived (I don't want to see them anymore). It would also be easier if I could select multiple updates and approve or reject them at the same time. Approving the updates one by one and then setting a date takes so much time. Maybe by starting this "Discussion" I can trigger a future wish at Microsoft448Views0likes1Comment
