Permissions required to refresh data in Excel which is connected to a SharePoint list?
I have come across an issue where a user that is only given Full control to a SharePoint list cannot refresh data that has been exported to Excel. They can export the data and the data shows up in Excel. The user does not have permissions to the site and giving Read to the whole site fixes the issue. I need to figure out what I need to give the user access too but I haven't been able to. I have replicated this in a test environment. There are no lookup columns. Error says " Sorry, something went wrong, an error occurred on the server" Anyone know the solution?
