Why does Clipchamp export videos with HUGE file sizes, even at 480p?
Hi everyone, I'm having an issue with Clipchamp exporting videos at ridiculously large file sizes, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or knows how to fix it. Here's my situation: I have a video that's about 1 hour long, with an original file size of 1.69 GB. I imported it into Clipchamp just to trim a small portion, so the final video is actually shorter than the original. I exported it at 480p, specifically to keep the file size as small as possible. Somehow, the exported video ended up being 2.6 GB! How does a shorter video exported at a much lower resolution end up being almost 1 GB larger than the original? I understand that file size depends on things like bitrate and compression, but this seems excessive, especially for a 480p export. Is there a way to control the export bitrate or reduce the file size in Clipchamp? Or is this just how Clipchamp handles video exports? I'd really appreciate any advice. Thank you!
Sharepoint Playing a video showing as Clipchamp
Hi All, Up until about a month ago, our teams were able to play a video by double clicking on it in there sharepoint home page. Today, I have the entire team not able to play the video. The error they are getting is "This video is not supported for playback.” The permissions haven't changed for the site access, it is not using AC3 for audio or HEVC/H.265 for video. It is an MP4 video, under 125mb, and 1280 x 1020. I have tried the suggestions in this thread, but they didnt work - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5541267/video-in-sharepoint-will-not-play If I download the video it works, If i switch to classic SharePoint, it works.
