Skype for Business add-in for Outlook
In our environment we randomly have an issue where the Outlook addin for Skype for Business gets disabled. I happended a few time when we had to Outlook 2013, the only resolution we had was to update the client to 2016 and it seemed to settle down. Now as of this week we have clients who are having the problem again in 2016. Has anyone ever experienced this?Multiple chats sessions with same contact in S4B window ?
I see multiple instances of chats with the same contact. This is really cluttering up my Skype for Business app window in both my mobile iOS and my desktop app. Example: Chat session with Joe at 10:00 for 10 minutes Chat session with Joe again at 14:00 for 15 minutes Now I see two separate chat streams with the same contact. Why isn't this singular? If I have a chat session with Joe and i do not actively remove/delete that chat session, shouldn't it just continue the next time one of us write? Is this by design? Do I need to adjust something in Skype for Business Admin on 365? I am using latest builds . iOS Version 6.11.1.310 and Mac OSX 16.2.156 Please help, this is sure to cause complaints amongst staff and I expect will introduce user acceptance numbers to drop. Especially if this is to be compard to WhatsApp, or any attempt to replace WhatsApp. Cheers p
SfB not generating Conference ID for meeting
We have several users reporting that when they attempt to create a SfB online meeting, their invites are not including the dial-in conference numbers and are only populated with the meet URL. This is with build 3639 of SfB and 15.28 of Outlook. Any suggestions? I believe there was a newer Outlook build but checking for updates repeatedly never detects any updates.
Split gallery view and presentation onto two separate screens.
I have a challenge. I have two large 65" screens connected to an Inten NUC mini pc I run a Skype for Business client on the NUC. I then wish to split gallery view on one screen and presentation on the other by default. This can be done manually but I wish this to be the default view when the SfB client is started. Have anyone suceded in doing this?
Missing Skype calls on mobile device
When my phone is active and I have the Skype app up, I can receive calls just fine. However, if my phone has been inactive for a period, and I'm not in the Skype app, then the Skype status changes to "Away" and I miss any incoming calls. I would expect to recieve Skype calls whether I'm activly in the Skype app or not. I've remove the app/reinstalled it, and get the same result. I've also tried it on multiple phones and OS's and get the same result. Phone: iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, and Samsun Galaxy S7 Software: iOS 10, and Android 6.0.1
