Azure Data Explorer can maintain results of queries in cache and so shorten response times of subsequent queries and also save significant resources. From Power BI we can enable these caching options.4.3KViews3likes0CommentsBranchcache http/https trafic caching
Hi, I'm testing branch cache and I'm stuck on using it for http/https traffic. for SMB it is working and no issues but for web traffic it does nothing I have a test setup with an AD, web server, and 3 clients. the AD I used also as file server and for this branch cache is working. the web server is IIS and host some files for download, and has branche cache feature enabled. I configured clients for distributed mode trough a group policy and add also the needed firewall rules by group policy. the strange thing it is working for http and https traffic when I use internet explorer. but when I use a modern browser edge chrome Firefox it doesn't work at all. can someone explain this behavior and/or give a solution.443Views0likes0CommentsError on updating Edge canary: Failed to cache the downloaded installer. Error: 0x800b0001.
I'm getting this infamous error Failed to cache the downloaded installer. Error: 0x800b0001. restarting Edge or computer doesn't help. I can see the directory is created: AppData\Local\Microsoft\EdgeUpdate\Download\{ID}\83.0.473.0 for some reason my Fiddler doesn't show me the URL of the file being downloaded either. so I would like to fix this without reinstalling Canary 🙂Solved5.7KViews0likes12CommentsPrevent User folders from caching locally
Hi @all, I do IT work for a company that uses profile redirection on all their workers machines which stores on a server. However, I noticed that user folders are being cached locally on every device and are accessible when not connected to the domain(IE, going into C:\Users and seeing the local folders and files of every user that has logged into a machine). How do I go about preventing the data from being cached so that if someone walks in and steals a computer there isn't any sensitive data being accessed? Or do I have to enable bitlocker on all devices? Thank you for your time.948Views0likes0CommentsBack/Forward caching is available now (bfcache) on Edge Version 89.0.734.0

Error: 0x80070070" Is there any way to fix this? Is my browser too outdated? I have the Microsoft Edge version 25.10586.672.0 Any help would be great11KViews0likes1CommentWhen is local MS Teams cache invalidated?
It seems the local MS Teams cache doesn't invalidate, when it possibly should. For example: a colleague had updated their O365 profile picture, and this change was not reflected in my local MS Teams client for a number of days. Manually clearing the cache resolved the issue. Likewise, I've had made a typo creating a new user in our organization and later renamed said user to remove the typo. This had happened almost a month ago. Unfortunately people who already talked to said user before I fixed the typo STILL see this user with the old name. MS Teams badly needs some better cache invalidation / cleaning. Alternatively, a built-in button to let the user clear the cache on demand (I know it's possible to clean the cache manually but this isn't very user friendly). I don't suppose there's a way to force users in our org. to automatically refresh their Teams cache? Alternatively, is the cache ever invalidated? If so, when?5.8KViews1like2Comments
