bookings meetings
19 TopicsCan I hide a published booking from the main booking page, and only view via a direct URL?
We have a number of bookings A, B and C which we would like to be made available to the public. If I navigate to Services -> Service, it shows a direct URL to the "Service booking page", e.g.: (1) https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/[myCalendar]/bookings/s/[UniqueString ] However, I would like to hide booking C from the main booking page: (2) https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/[myCalendar]/bookings so that it is only accessible via the direct link. I.e. I would like to have some of these bookings be publicly available (1), but would not like them to be easily enumerated on a single page (2). Is there a way to do this? Currently I only have the option of setting a page as "Not Published", but this hides the booking from both (1) and (2). Is there a way to make the booking only appear in (1)? Thank you3.1KViews4likes1CommentHow to possible to limit the number of bookings for a client?
Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to limit the number of bookings for a client, by its email or its domain. for i.e. The client, Andy, can only book 4 slots on my reservation book. If he tries to book the 5th one, using the same email or domain, it will be automatically blocked or unavailable.2KViews1like3CommentsBookings can't sync properly with 365 tools
I've notice that Bookings is not sync properly in calendar having bugs among some users, if we do the event we receive the email but the event can't be visualized in calendar as created/cancelled by some costumers or some providers. So trying to solve this problem i've tried to do an connection with API using Power Automate, but the ID of the event in bookings it's deprecated and seems different compared to an Outlook event. Another bad ocasion its the case of when we schedule a meeting, the meeeting overlaps the existing one, even changing the settings to schedule only when free. I think bookings it's a powerful resource to create a bridge to B2C, but have so many errors.561Views1like1CommentBookings Generate Wrong Meeting Link in Teams App
I created a calendar and a service using Microsoft Bookings. This service is created for the use of company employees and I am not sharing it with an external audience. When someone books my calendar using Microsoft Bookings, both me and the respective person, get an email notification and it also gets updated in our respective calendars. The challenge is that I (whose calendar is booked using Microsoft Bookings) get the correct link in the Teams app while the person who books the calendar gets an incorrect link starting from visit.teams.microsoft.com/.... It seems like the Teams app doesn't support this link, hence, the person who booked the meeting using Microsoft Bookings is forced to use either the link received through an email notification or an Outlook calendar (browser). Also, using either of the mentioned methods, one can join the meeting but only through the Teams browser and not the Teams app. Because I am using Microsoft Booking for the employees of my company, it is difficult for me to explain to every employee about this challenge. Most of the employees are using the Teams app. They either end up leaving the meeting or create another meeting at the end. I want to fix this. Can someone help me here?2.5KViews1like5CommentsAbility to force booking multiple Staff in a Service
In addition to allowing the customer to choose specific person vs no selection, there needs to be an option under Services to "force all staff" or "force selected staff" to be booked together for a Service. So the customer would only see appointment slots where 2+ Staff members, who were grouped under the Service, are all available. I.e. a "Required" checkbox next to their names in the service. This option is needed if an appointment requires more than 1 person. The booking would then go on all the Required Staff calendars. This functionality would make Bookings much more powerful allowing you to share whole groups availability with 3rd parties for scheduling big meetings without trying to coordinate across a dozen calendars. It would do what Calendly does, something sorely missing from Outlook 365 and desktop.1.2KViews1like0CommentsSeveral Staff Members for each Service Appointment
I need that not just one Staff member be present on each service appointment. When I add Staff personnel to a service, Bookings considers one Staff member for each appointment, so calendar availability stays open when in reality I have none. What I would do is a service configuration where I can choose to consider 1 staff member per appointment or all staff members in each appointments. Is there a way to fix this? Where can I suggest this option to MS developers?539Views1like0Comments
