Azure Tiles Not loading with MS Edge Beta v147.0.3912.16
In the latest version of MS Edge, we cannot view or access the SAML Certificate data for Enterprise Applications hosted in Entra ID. Before: (v146.0.3856.62) After updating to v147.0.3912.16: As can be seen, the certificates cannot be displayed or accessed from this tile. This is affecting our test users who cannot rotate their SAML certificates but may have other impact for other Azure resources being accessed with MS Edge Beta.PWA shortcuts don't keep asociated with window - Linux
I recently upgraded to version140.0.3485.14 (Official build) beta (64-bit) and noticed that my PWA, even if they open correctly in a independent window, don't show the "running window counter" on the taskbar. So, for example, if a open Outlook, the window open and loads the app, but if a I click the icon again, it opens another window, wich is a little annoying. I tried removing the PWA from Edge, rebooting, and installing again, but didn't work. Because the only change I made is updating Edge, I think is related to this build. Greetings, all I used to take a lot of screenshots of web on Edge when I used Windows, but now I installed Edge Insider Beta on Linux, as a proper released version is not there. But that website screenshot feature isn't there. So, we have to activate it from settings or is the feature removed? I'd like to give a suggestion too: please, set the nav bar as transparent, using the Edge-to-edge concept from Android 10, like you guys already does on iOS (here: codelabs.developers.google.com/codelabs/gesture-navigation#3 , here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf-fP2u9vjI, and here developer.android.com/training/gestures/gesturenav?hl=pt-br ) Look how this bar is ugly, makes the screen smaller and pollutes the screen as well... Look how it's very better, like the Edge works on iOS and how it should be on Android as well. The little home bar change its color depending from the background. This division of the interface is also ugly. Another suggestion that I'd like to see in the future is the "force dark mode" in sites that don't have support to the changing color API. Various browsers already have it. And, congratulations! The new Edge for Android is incredible 😄 you've gone a good job.This old issue with Global Media Controls button hasn't been fixed yet
me and other people sent feedback about it, even posts made in this forum around 10 months, but it's still the same. problem: as you can see in the gif above, when you press the pause/play button, its state doesn't change until you move the mouse cursor away from it. expected result: pause/play button's state should change whether or not mouse cursor is over it. this is the normal behavior of UI, but Edge is not doing it correctly. Global media controls also exist in Chrome browser and they work correctly. i.e. the button's state changes no matter the mouse cursor is still over it or not.just my opinion with edge new icons
as you know edge changed the icons of the mac app. now they looks like https://imgur.com/a/eImIgtl Just my opinion about edge new icons. As you know new icons looks pretty similar especially if you use it in small size on the dock. For me it was much better the old version, we could better understand which version is what. now they seems all identical, there is just a small banner with different colors. obviously if you keep the icon at max size you notice the difference. i make a lot of chaos especially between dev and beta, because other browser use such color inverted. i wish the team could rethinking that and maybe use different icons like other browsers do too PS: i already liked your old version icons. this is not because it was much easier to switch app, but because the old icon was already just fine.
