Azure Virtual Desktop for Guest User / B2b Identity
All of our external customers have their own AAD / Entra ID and wish to not manage multiple identities. As we present our applications via AVD, it requires them to have a separate identity in our tenant currently. AVD should support guest accounts from another tenant to be able to sign in. Currently, per the documentation and per the ticket I just worked with Microsoft support: Azure Virtual Desktop doesn't support external identities, including guest accounts or business-to-business (B2B) identities. Whether you're serving internal commercial purposes or external users with Azure Virtual Desktop, you'll need to create and manage identities for those users yourself. Please continue development to allow guest accounts that have been invited into a tenant to sign in to AVD machines. Thanks!
Enable Screen Capture Protection via Host Pool settings
Dear product group, a feature that is key for security departments when using AVD / WVD is Screen Capture Protection. It would be super helpful to be able to enable / disabled the feature from within the Host Pool properties for the increased administrative experience. Thank you!Sync for Remote Desktop Connections
It would be really cool if the macOS and iOS clients of Microsoft Remote Desktop sync'd the remote desktops along with passwords via iCloud (or even some other service / mechanism, but iCloud preferred). I maintain a fairly large number of servers for clients and use multiple computers / iOS devices in my day to day work. It would be great if the Remote Desktop lists were in sync across all of my devices.
Windows App for MacOS: Remove thumbnails
I connect to hundreds of devices using Remote Desktop Windows App, and do not want or need a thumbnail/icon/preview when the Remote Desktop Windows App device list is in List view. I also do not want or need a multi-column view while in List view. There is no evident way to remove the clutter within the GUI.
Button required to Show All Session Hosts in a Host Pool
When loading session host in hostpool, the display does not load all session hosts at once and need to continue clicking on load more as only 20 session hosts are listed at a time. This is very inconvenient for host pools which have large amounts of session hosts. Can we please incorporate a Show All button to display all Session Hosts within a Host Pool? Thanks Scott
Allow data location support in Frankfurt region
I want to request Microsoft to make AVD data location to be supported in ‘Germany West Central’ [Frankfurt] region. This change is crucial as our customer is planning to implement an important operational resiliency strategy in this region soon for one of our critical business client services, which relies on AVD as part of the overall solution.
