I am using windows 11 that been upgraded from windows 10, the problem is after more or less a year now it asking me to activate it. What I supposed to do with this scenario, enter a product key from supplier (by the way I bought an already built Computer.) so I don't know where to get the product key, or I need to buy window 11 pro digital license key, or is there any other way that will not cost me a penny?218Views0likes3CommentsOffice 365 Activation suddenly failing. SARA and Uninstall/Wipe/Reinstall not helping. HELP!
Hello - need help getting my Office 365 (fully paid, up to date) subscription is suddenly indicating "(Unlicensed Product)" as of the past week, on my Windows 11 (build 26231.5000 ge_prerelease) PC. I have performed all troubleshooting tasks Microsoft provides online, uninstalled/wiped/reinstalled Office multiple times now, run SARA multiple times, and still continue to be unable to activate my Office products. Clicking on the "Activate Product" or "Fix Me" buttons both results in a "Sign In to Office" page, (even though I'm already signed in) and results in a permanent, repeated cycle of re-signing in, without the product activating. After hours of dialog with support, the agent directed me to the Insider support, as they had exhausted all options for "standard" Windows PCs. I really need some advanced support here please!343Views0likes0CommentsLet us change Windows edition from Windows settings activation section
I have multiple editions of Windows 10 digital license tied to my Microsoft account and It would be really convenient if there was an option in Windows settings so I could choose another edition to Upgrade/Downgrade to. (Not with command-line or installing generic product keys) the same upgrade/downgrade user is offered when troubleshooting activation. for example, when user has Windows 10 pro license in their Microsoft account and the installed edition is Pro for workstation, the activation troubleshooter allows user to Downgrade to Pro, or Vice Versa. There needs to be a way to view available digital licenses inside our Microsoft account, I think in Windows settings => update and security => Activation would be the most suitable place. it has benefits, the most important one is so user can see their available licenses in their Microsoft account and make a wise decision based on that info. please upvote this feedback in feedback hub: https://aka.ms/AAbdhft48KViews4likes2CommentsWindows Activation troubleshooter shows "Upgrade" even when you are Downgrading edition
Happens on Windows 10 20H2 and also insider Beta/Dev. I have Windows 10 pro Workstation installed, but in my MSFT account I have digital license for Windows 10 pro only. so I use activation troubleshooter and it successfully finds the license and offers to convert Windows 10 edition from Pro Workstation to Pro, to activate it, but it shows by Mistake to "Upgrade" editions, even though Pro Workstation to Pro is a DOWNGRADE. so Windows needs to be aware of edition changes and show the correct term to the user. p.s Pro Workstation is more expensive than Pro and also has more features.
